And remember, the site is completely a voluntary project. It's all well bemoaning the lack of women of colour coming forward to contribute, but it's exactly that. Not too many have come forward to contribute. It's a shame, but it's not as if the IFM team can just go out on the street and abduct random girls on the street and force them to contribute.

I'd say I am a woman of colour since I seem to have the misfortune of turning a rather bright shade of berry when fiddling is complete...

Kesia: May I suggest that "turning a rather bright shade of berry" is NOT a misfortune!!!! Some of us think it very attractive and enhances the genuine nature of this site as the crude sites cannot show orgasmic flush for the simple reason that there ain't none!

It's definitely a concern of ours and we would like to have more diversity on the site, but there are also some ethical issues with specifically recruiting a particular demographic, so it's a tough thing to solve. I know that the responses to your query have been a bit glib, but you are right to point that out and it's always worth discussing.

To be honest (which I always try to be, although it gets me into all sorts of interesting debates) no, I can't define it!!

I don't have a degree in anthropology: maybe if I had, I could do you a dissertation on the detailed characterisics of various African, European, Asian and Native Australian "races".

But of course a high, and increasing, proportion of the world's population has a mixture of those characteristics anyway. I am happy with that. Some of the most handsome people that I know, (male or female) have physical characteristics which originate in a mixture of anthropological types.

As it is I have to rely on my own experience and observation. Most of the contributors to IFM are of European origin, which probably reflects the balance of the population of Australia.

For those of us who appreciate the various subtle differences in the human form, shzay_jay is an example of a beautiful woman who is NOT the stereotypical European.
