i think it might be more useful as a way to teach him how to auto-fellate...

Just stumbled across an interesting little article that although smothered in a healthy dollop of anger is a good reminder to fuck worrying about what team you are batting for and just be a person.
This article also gets bonus points for using the words triangulation and penis in the same sentence. Annnd the list of desirable characteristic in a prehistoric mate are also worthy of a chuckle. I could do without the underlying message that you should be doing all of this for the sole purpose of improving your dating life (dating, I have recently decided is highly overrated), but if you replace dating with living its awesome.

Great article Jane and something it took me about.........60 years to learn. We are so programmed to dislike who we are and how we look that we lose sight of the person we are regardless. So many people to be and when you discover you can't be any of them, you kinda quit on yourself. Well, that's when you should discover yourself.
I've mentioned this over and over until I'm sick of stating it myself but that's why I love machinery. It asks nothing, it expects nothing and it responds to anyone who can operate it correctly. The reward is in knowing that there's no judgement at all. It neither excepts nor rejects. It runs or it doesn't.
I like the person I am. I hate the person I have to pretend to be.
Being on this forum is the best of all possible worlds. I'm running a machine and it responds to my ability or lack thereof. But it's interactive and a fairly good judge of the real me. I can be honest here, but I can also appreciate there's real people on the other end. People who help me run the machine. If we work together, the end product is satisfying without the stress of anticipation of failure or rejection to diminish the return.
Anyway, dating is overrated. It's all smoke and mirrors, false fronts and semi-truths.
It's like running for political office. You say and do anything to get in and then you can go back to being yourself.
Here, on IFM, I can like, admire, respect, adore, worship or ignore anyone I choose. I don't have to view any vid I don't choose to view and I can't be prevented (I don't believe...) from watching any vid as long as I'm an up to date member. It's virtually a flawless system. No guess work. No games. No role playing. The contributors have a good deal as well. They're insulated from the bulk of the members. They just need to produce an acceptable vid and nothing more. The fact that some choose to interact, to accept compliments with good grace and show concern about other issues, offer up interesting topics for discussion, is a plus for both sides.
I enjoy seeing someone finish and then get dressed and move on. That's so great. They have other things to do. None of the post sex, "Was it good for you?" crap. Stress free. Worry free. No promises, no commitment.
But when someone gets on the forums and interacts, that's by choice, I'm guessing and I get an insight and can offer my own. Love it.

Every now and again I run into something like this that makes my blood boil. The female chauvinist pig with antiquated concepts of gendered roles in society. I even had a youtube debate with this fuckwit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp8tToFv-bA
Just bumped into this so I'll leave it here http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/ … 554854.htm

Whooh! Very long thread, which means that a lot of people feel pretty deeply about this - and rightly so. It's been interesting to see what various people think, and how bitter and/or defensive they are, I'm not surprised at either reaction, but I do wonder if anything new or constructive has come of this.

Basically the woman in the video was saying men have traditionally been expendable citing women and children 1st as ships are sinking as an example. So when I bumped into that article I thought it was interesting. Sometimes cultural assumptions are just misinformation that turns into a myth. In this case to make the people who ran the 1st passenger ships look upstanding and moral and safe, to counter the Victorian image of sailing which was full of "salty" language and lashes and sunken wrecks and death. Certainly an image you'd wanna get away from if your running a large civilian passenger service and hope to get any customers.

Great article Jane! I really appreciate reading that. I quite like it's anger and cynicism, because too often (and heck even that article does it) people are being told what to think and worry about. Agreed- replace dating with living and i think the whole wide world would be way more satisfied.

Nike have got themselves a pretty spesh marketing team atm (or I'm just getting older and easier to manipulate). This is the second ad I've seen from them where I've gone, yeah! I still wouldn't buy their shoes. I expect though their target market is those kids and not me.
P.S I love Diana Taurasi, she's the "I just wanna play ball".
This is the other ad

It's ambush marketing because they don't sponsor the Olympics, it's very clever, but I still wouldn't buy their shoes.

Just thought of a nit picking part of English that's really important. Instead of saying someone is disabled we can say they have a disability. Then we acknowledge for he probably 12 million times someone with a disability hears this phrase that it doesn't automatically mean your disabled.

And talking of ads I love the music on this one. It wouldn't make me go out and buy whatever it's selling either but I suppose they just earned themselves a bit of free advertising from me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjEkCVEq … r_embedded
