My desktop is full of probly over 100 files all in a mess. I never file anything away carefully because spotlight will find it anyway. I could never live like that. I like order too much (try not to look at my desk, please). I was once told, when I first got my macbook that you weren't supposed to have to organise things like in Windows, because spotlight could just find things so much faster. And it is better than the search function in Windows ever was, but I don't see the harm in knowing yourself too.

I find that collections of things never ever get revisited, as much as I do intend to revisit them when I am industriously filing and organizing them away. So, bookmark folders hardly ever get used - recipes for example, 1 in 10 will never see inside my pantry, though I do diligently store them away on the off-chance I will one day make that braided, chocolate chip-and-mandarin challah.

The lemon curd recipe sat at the bottom of my inbox for like, 3 years, really, never getting archived. I am so proud to have finally used it.

I do that too. All my old computers are filled with bookmarks for things I figure I'll use at some point, but eventually, I just look at them and can't for the life of me figure out why I even bookmarked those sites.

I've found that what often adds a new level of arousal in watching porn is finding something I've simply not seen before. Not necessarily something more hard core or more extreme, but just a new angle, or a new idea that tickles my preferences in a new way. The old "indulgence" videos on here are a good example of that. I'd seen porn far more explicit than that long before they were published, but the whole situation just oozed sex so much that it turned me on on a completely new level the first time I watched them.

(In fact, I could probably say that about the entire site the first time I came here)

Every mood is different and an opportunity to get off to porn (usually I am media-free, or partnered) usually involved many different chat windows, videos, possibly a webcam, tabs with stories open, maybe even a good click through of craigslist casual encounters. It's a multilayered, organic thing I can not possibly recreate by browsing through a saved folder of stuff. I make it sound so noble! but to me, it is.

Nowaysis: I'm with you on organising computer stuff - I'm not a total pedant about it, but I find it interesting to consider that now we are used to computers and use them constantly, people have developed an ability to remember never-ending pathways, all the way to the core of their computer where they keep their deepest, darkest smut.  I've been watching a lot of people give seminar presentations at uni recently and find the most exciting part of each presentation is watching someone go through folder after folder on their USB sticks, until they get to the clever place they've stored their presentation - I'm always impressed when people remember it's in this folder which is in this folder which is in this folder...

Often sequential orgasms [1] are not distinguished from multiple orgasms [2] - I don't believe there's even one "stricly multiple" example on IFM (but will happily stand to be corrected as long as examples are fully referenced).

Definitions (so there's less chance I'll be misunderstood)
[1] Sequences are where stimulation ceases perforce for a brief refractory period but arousal returns to the plateau phase (or, if you wish, high in the excitement phase) so that when stimulation resumes the subsequent orgasm is reached swiftly (relative to the first).
[2] Multiple orgasms are where the stimulation doesn't cease between orgasms. The pace, pressure, style, etc. may vary but there's no need to stop (and some compelling reasons to keep going ;-) )

Uhff, I dunno. I've always wondered about the mystery of multiple orgasm - do they mean the aftershocks? do they mean those times where after a minute or so I just up and go again?
