Re: Sexy hotels

You beat me to the punchline!  My favourite thing about the Hello Kitty dungeon room (apart from the fact that it also has a karaoke machine..!) is that it has a hello kitty sex toy vending machine:

Re: Sexy hotels

This is totally disturbing.

Love it.

What other suites does this hotel have, one ponders?  Power rangers sweet for groups?

Re: Sexy hotels

I like this hotel, is it in the UK :-))   The Hilton or the Marriot or the Ritz smile Great for honeymooners. I'm assuming reception "knows" when you take an item out of the dispenser !

Re: Sexy hotels

This hotel is definitely not in the UK hehe. Only the Japanese could brainstorm this kind of adorable depravity. DomC, I swear we share a brain. That vending machine is amazing... the toys available look like some kind of sick hentai joke. I guess they are.. minus the joke part.

This picture is from a book about Japanese love hotels, places which feature rooms which can be rented out for a "rest" (a few hours) or a "stay" (overnight). Japanese people living in Tokyo typically don't have a lot of privacy or space for their rendezvous, so love hotels are a practical convenience, but these also provide a place to go with (often illegally young) prostitutes and a place to fulfill certain fantasies without getting too deep into play prep. There are rooms that look like train cars (for the chikan lurking in all of us), rooms that look like libraries, offices, schoolrooms, etc. Then there are dungeons and yes, this hello kitty bondage palace.

When I went to one, it was for practical purposes - I lived in a room with 8 other girls, and the guy I was with wasn't much better off. We didn't have the money for anything as fancy as Hello Kitty sex, but our neighborhood love hotel had toys, porn, a round bed, a superduper bathtub and mirrors everywhere. I thought it'd be good for a laugh, but maybe I wasn't with the right guy - the whole thing felt seedy-in-a-bad-way. I would totally go back with the right lover, and give it a shot, but the lingering shared shame of all the previous tenants was a kind of intense.

Actually apart from one luxurious bathtub session in a friends room at the 4star Intercontinental in Santiago, most of my sexual hotel experiences have gone from bizarre to just plain sad. Hotels are just so transitory, such not-places, and have so much of the heavy energy from the people who have been there before you... that said, hotel maid fantasies have taken their fair turn on my spank bank rolodex.

Re: Sexy hotels

I'm one of those people who walks into a hotel room and starts creating a mental catalogue of possible places you could fuck in it and how best to utilise mirrors, windows and furniture.  To add to that, there is a special place in my heart for really sleazy hotels that reek of desperation and the sadness that conjures up only adds to its attractiveness.  With all of that said, I'm hardly a sound and level person and it's only my masochistic tendencies that actually make the negative feelings associated with these places vaguely attractive.

I think those themed love hotel rooms would only really work, as you say, Viva, if you're with someone who shares a mutual excitement about and strange arousal from the weirdness of it.  Personally, if I went over, I'd want to see a train themed hotel room, but I'd want the room to move, mimicking the rocking of a train.  If it ain't rocking, I'm not interested.

Re: Sexy hotels

You realise that would require a full flight simulator costing millions fitted inside and with suitable software and window displays to look likea train smile Which would rent at £950 for 10 hours http://www.virtual-aerospace.com/simulator-costs.html

The key to enjoying great hotels I think is being rich smile Having the room all night and that it's super clean and sexy I think makes it work. The only way you can do that cheaply is at home.

Got an idea for cutting the cost of a very expensive hotel room in half. Check in on your own into a single room. Your lover checks into a cheap but nice hostel nearby. You meet up round the corner from the hotel, have a great night out and both return to your room at the hotel. The staff see you go to your room with a guest. Early in the morning he leaves 1st and then you do. You meet up round the corner and then go and have breakfast in the hostel. There the breakfast room is alive wirth interesting people backpacking around the world and if your at the Holland park Hostel in London http://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodatio … index.aspx you can visit the house and park gardens after breakfast http://www.gardenvisit.com/garden/holland_park they're beautiful!
