I always thought it's brilliant to chat to someone who's been naked in front of thousands of people. It's so unusual and exiting. While we were talking about porn at work last week everyone stopped working you've never seen such a keen subject. Music, gossip, notable youtube videos are all subjects that accompany the flow and activity of work, but for porn everything stops and I share ISM and IFM and hear about amateur porn and a couple who had sex live on cam and took requests for a few weeks while they were hot for the idea. I think the attitude was very different from the last time this came up at work, as if a tipping point had been reached where everyone thought ahh fuck it, we all have computers and we all like porn admit it, and then with the burden lifted wow!! it's like 200% enthusiasm

TZO, your podium metaphor really hit home for me.. I feel comfortable speaking here but the idea of being put on the spot like that freezes me up, to the point where I find it super difficult to contribute to the question/answer section of a conference even if I have a question I am really curious to hear addressed.
Fortunately the internet is different, there's no moment where all eyes turn to you and the room falls silent to hear what you have to say. That's how I use forums, as a place to speak and be heard without expectations or (hopefully) judgement.
But I'd like to take a moment to stress that different or disagreeing is not wrong, and unless threatening or disrespectful language comes into play I would hope that you could express your views if you want to discuss them, TZO.
It's just sex, it's just porn. We can talk about it. It gets sticky when people try to involve or rate the contributors based on the videos they make, which can come off as rude without intention. but otherwise, talking theory, expressing ideas, and speaking anecdotally from your personal experience are all great ways to keep a conversation out of flame territory.

I'm terribly sorry for the delayed "RE" I would love nothing better than to discuss varying views and opinions, though I do have my own they are thankfully, not permanent! :^) I also make the *best effort to never take or hold anything said online personally, especially if someone else does so deliberately, all the more reason not to as it renders them utterly powerless against you. ;^)

On the subject of the thread itself....
I am an experienced Forum Moderator and Administrator in the Video Gaming arena, and have noticed that in that area of the internet, it very much depends on the subject. A lot of Role-Plays occur in the forums I frequent and that has a similar level of views to posts to here. Whereas the "Normal" threads about the games themselves have a 10% (roughly) post count to that of views.
I imagine, however, here, not as many post compared to those registered and view because of embarrassment. I am a tad embarrassed to post here myself, I know I shouldn't be, but I am.

I was embarressed until I found Dodson and Ross. To hear a mature sexologist say masturbation is the foundation of sexuality changed the way I view it. In this video Betty talks about porn too. She's since been enlightened about the the good way to use visual stimulation. The way she was using it is the wrong way to use porn, which is basically short mainstream porn clips, which is like watching TV ads as oposed to enjoying a good movie, the good way to use visual stimulation is just like watching a movie, it engages our fantasy and gets our brain involved. But yeah Masterbation is the foundation of sexuality. Welcome to the forum trev
