Re: Birthdays and other significant dates and etc

Elfman --

The former. I like to be able to wish people happy birthday, as well as commemorate other important dates as well. Although I'm so sad tat I missed MSNevil's! Many happy returns, msnevil.

Also, we sometimes behave differently on days that are the anniversaries of deaths of siblings, etc; Istarted out with birthdays, but was intending to broaden the scope once people started going. Plus i admit I was a little taken aback by the addition of the year -- hadn't expected folks to offer that as well, though it's of course lovely to know.

(not making sense; just woke up, etc smile

in closing, i want to say that i DID think Max was born 5 october -- which is my brother's birthday. That was cool but it's even neater, from my perspective, to learn that she's a fellow taurus. go, earth signs!

In my frequent professional dealings with Americans and Europeans, I have realized what a screwup these different formats of writing dates can be, so I stick to say October 5 if I want to say 5th october, instead of 5/10 or 10/5.

Re: Birthdays and other significant dates and etc

10th october 1985

i share the same birthday with the artist Alberto Giacometti, who made very pretty sculptures

AND he died of chronical bronchitis .... wich is a disease that i also have ... and i didn't know you could die of it before i've heard of him

AND im born EXACTLY one week after my mothers birthday, so i'm kind of like a late birthday present or something

AND im born on the day that Orson Welles died

AND in 2010 my birthday will be 10/10/10
and in binary, 101010 = *
so maybe on that date im going to put '*' as a tattoo, cuz it totally represent me and stuff ...

so, uhhm
thats about as interesting as it gets about my birthdate

So, on 10/10/10 you are going to be a Star!
