Liandra's past...

For those of us on both IFM and ISM, have a look back at Liandra's heat_1 clip on ISM. It's an earlier statement, in a way, of the ideas that lead to this site.

I'm not trying to say that's this site was wholly Liandra's idea, but it does make interesting viewing in the light of this.

I still love to occasionally watch Liandra's first BA submission (#0085), from way back in the summer of 2004.

She looked gorgeous (of course), but she was sooooo nervous it's sweet. I suspect it was probably Lady Li's first time infront of a video camera.

Each time I've seen her since, I feel that she has opened up a little more on each occasion, so what we see now is the 'real' (i.e. confident) Liandra.

Yeah...I think my ISM heat clips scored me the part on this project.

Hahahaha...yes my debut on BA.... I was so intimidated by the camera....oh what sort of monster has Richard created???

There is one small part of your debut on BA that has embedded itself into my memory - the nervous little smile at the end which says "Did I really just do that?"

"creature of sexuality"...I like that...perhaps I'll have it carved on my tomb...then when I awaken from the dead...

oh, liandra...you'd make the sexiest zombie. but then, i like cheesy, excessive erotic horror films from the 70's. go figure!

but "creature of sexuality" would have to be a great title for this theoretical movie.

sadly, yes - the great russ meyer had passed away. i think he's been gone for about a year or so.

meyer was pretty infatuated with the large breasts (though, i sense that yours are just fine the way they are, lady li). i think meyer's never really been associated with sexism because as much as his ladies on the big screen were objectified, i think he engaged it with more fascination and curiosity - which is way more respectable towards a woman than the routine dogmas of porn or softcore these days. at least back then, certain skin flicks were about the joys of sex and having genuine fun with it - whereas so much of the sex now is violent and depraved. which is ironic here in the states, because america tends to make sex either depraved...or we just censor it altogether (of course, we'd censor the GOOD sex, too).

Ha ha ha ha ha... I'd love to be a starlet in a Meyerian flick! Don't think my boobs are big enough. I heard something about a dedication to his works here in Melbourne called 'Assault with a deadly Breast" or something like that... I've only seen 'Faster PussyCat! Kill! Kill!' though. Did he die recently?

Several Russ Meyer films just came out on DVD. I've only watched Vixen out of the three or four, but there's some interesting stuff on the disc. The interview with the leading lady is amusing, especially when she describes her disbelief that Russ Meyer was interested in her. She claimed her breasts weren't big enough, too.
