Shifting sexual energy

I read about people shifting the sexual energy around their body and I've never identified with that and wondered if it was something they just imagined. I'm a guy and my sexual energy has always flowed from every part of my body towards my penis, ready, like an exploding volcano, to eventually produce an ejaculation.

I've just had a small corrective operation on the bottom part of my body and for the moment my penis isn't interested in sex at all, and for the first time I have sexual energy in the top part of my body only, which is a weird and new feeling for me. Are you able to shift your sexual energy around your body and if you can, is it something you've always been able to do or did you learn to do it.

energy is everywhere. it resides at every point in our lives. maybe if you are feeling different up the top half of your body your shifting focus onto different body parts, nows the time for exploration! hah awlays is!

we can do anything we put our minds to. my boyfriend has been able to ejaclute simply from visualizing, he didnt touch himself at all.

Hmmm, this is something I admit that I've not really thought about a whole lot. I -do- tend to feel it through various parts of my body, rather than just my genitals... in fact, it was only when I learnt to orgasm that I began to feel any real sort of energy in that area. Before then, it tended to be more of an overall feeling. It still is, generally speaking, until I come quite close to orgasm and then when I actually -am- orgasming, the energy tends to feel like it's sort of exploding through my whole body.

Also, lately I've noticed that when I come close to an intense orgasm, it feels like my gums are tingling. Sometimes it becomes almost too sort of tickly feeling!

hugs, sexually potent. i believe the reason why there so genuinly addictive is because they connect and bind us to our sexual oppositions, not a battle type of opposition, but like an opposite charge.
I was reading a book a while ago (finding of the 3rd eye) that said male is like a postive charge and female a negative charge, they attach to eachother a form a circuit, this curcit can flow whichever way you want...

I have no idea if it's the same thing other people mean when they talk about moving energy around, but at some point I started to find similarities between sex and other intense sensory experiences. I mean, just: "hey, each bite of that amazing dessert really reminded me of an orgasm, except for the fact that it felt totally different."

It seems like step 1 was being able to feel that in places on my body which are not usually erogenous zones. The sense of moving it around came naturally afterward, since there are still certain places I like feeling sexual energy best.:)

If your interested in reading about the movement of sexual energy around in the body, Tantric practitioners do talk about this a lot. Check out writings by David Deida for example. For me honestly, the experience has been rare because - for me it requires a good block of time to relax and focus inward. I sure can't get there immediately after the hustle of a busy day.

I like this topic I like it a lot! So what I read in a lovely book called “Bonk” was that there is a field of study on orgasms in paraplegics. So far the conclusion is that even if you can’t feel the lower half of your body you can still orgasm. This is proven from the little lights that begin to flash and light up in your brain when you orgasm and the fact that those same light (except for the light relaying sensory information from the lower half of your body) light up. According to this data it is currently believed (by some not all…someone has to disagree…) that an orgasm is a whole body experience and that the sexual energy can flow from everywhere. With this in mind I believe that sexual energy can’t necessarily be “moved” but can be focused. I suppose moved and focused could be synonymous in this case, but where I am going with this is that just as a person can concentrate on something and ignore pain in an arm or leg they can also focus on a part of the body that is experiencing the orgasm and become enveloped in it. Then again it is totally possible that I am 100% wrong about everything and you can actually control energy in your body and move it around at will. If that is the case I am not versed in the ways of energy manipulation. But to comment on what btec348 said about the eating of amazing dessert I can agree that some sensations no matter how small, big, or bizarre they may be can bring with them a sense of such intense pleasure it is borderline ecstasy. I love the rain and can be filled with so much pleasure I am frozen by the intensity of it sometimes in a rain storm…that or cuddling with my cat…he is so soft and lovably, brings shivers to my body just thinking about it. For a guy who doesn’t get to have sex I have to make do with whatever pleasure I can muster and I believe I am far better off with knowing what I can find pleasure in. Not sure if this helps or makes a whole lot of sense, but that’s just the way it is going to be.
