I only have to type "ma" into the Google search field now and top of the list of suggestions it generates based on my previous searches is masturbation :) I'm not letting anyone else use my computer.

Damn google, at least let the man enter 3 maybe 4 and God forbid 5 letters before jumping to such a bold conclusion.

I was using my housemates laptop last night and starting putting youtube into the tab and youporn popped up under the URL as soon as I'd typed in 'you'.
I took a photo of it with my phone and smsed it to him, whilst having a giggle. It's nice to know I'm not the only porn fiend in my house.

I learned some interesting things about previous partner's sexuality through such occurences (nothing dodgy, just stuff I didn't know about until then!).

I wondered what you meant at first, but I guess you're using Internet Explorer. If you switch to Firefox or Safari, it auto fills with the Google suggestions, which is like mapquest etc.

Little tip.
If you use the latest FireFox browser, you can do Private Browsing which forgets everything as soon as you close it

This is why I set up a Guest- account on my MacBook Pro and subtly switch to that account before handing it to anyone else.
It's not the MacOSX default "Guest" account, it's given wider privileges than that, but keeps all my dirty secrets safe from prying eyes.
I have a lot of dirty secrets.

Oh do tell? We love secrets, especially grubby, gritty, sooty ones.

In view of the recent news stories, http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/10/12 … ating_bug/ I thought it best to emphasise that you should not currently enable login with the default "Guest" account, as in certain cases people have had their home directory wiped when using this.
I understand that this isn't what thinott is doing.
