Why do a lot of the Australian Girls have Tatoos all over the place.
In England it seems fasionable to have some sort of design at the base of the spine and then perhaps a little one on top of the arm.

Is it because...............the.................ink is cheaper? yes that's definitely the reason.

England has so much better taste in everything don't you find.

Hmmmm, I don't think Aussie girls have significantly more tattoos than girls in other western countries (except France... I was there recently and my heavily tattooed American friend was stared at slack jawed), I just think there's a high concentration of tattooed girls on IFM.

People who have tattoos are generally a bit alternative/opened minded/creative and I think those attributes can be found in most, if not all, of the IFM contributors.

Once I fulfill my dream of moving to the country and becoming a hermit with chickens I will get all manner of ridiculous tattoos and no one will be around to tell me I've made "a terrible mistake!" or "You've ruined your body" or anything else like that. It will be awesome.

If I had tattoos I'd get ellaberate designs with no colour that are symetrical both sides of my body. I'd get them done under general anesthetic :)

I guess if you're going to have your body marked in a certain way for the rest of your life you get done what you like, in the way you like. I can tell you when contemplating both of the pieces of ink I've had done, what other people would think of them did not enter my decision making process at all.

It's my body and my choice and to be perfectly frank I couldn't give a shit what anyone else thinks. I'd suggest to you that most people that are tattooed think along similar lines.

And I'd also like to add that if someone is getting tattooed for 'fashion' or because everyone else has something done in a certain place then they're an idiot. A tattoo is a life-long commitment and chances are if you haven't thought long and hard about what you're getting or just went and had something done to be cool or hip (or some other bollocks) then you will regret the decision and/or the artwork you had done.

Oh if people wanna do that they just start threads on the IFM forum. A lot of middle aged guys don't like tattoos on women and a lot of young women like them and thats it, and like the pubic hair and boob job discussions they go round and round and round in circles :)

Something that is important to consider though is, I always thought how awkward or scary it is when a celebrity meets someone who has a huge tattoo of them on their back.

I got the first few tattoos done before I started making a living from my body and never anticipated the kind of reaction they would get once I 'put myself out there' in a position to be examined and judged.

I love/tolerate all of my tattoos but if I knew about the kind of attention they'd attract I probably would have waited until after I finished working in the sex industry to get them. Tattoos are a very personal thing but when you wither about naked on laps for a living it's understandable that numerous times a night, night after night, people will have something to say about your body and it's embellishments/flaws. It's not like you can tell someone the meaning of your tattoos are "none of their business" while rubbing your tits in their face, right?

I recently retired from the 'Live Girls, Girls, Girls!' side of the industry so it's likely that I'll start on some larger pieces soon. After years of so much exposure I'm kinda on a privacy kick so I'll probably work on filling the easily concealed parts of my body first.

Xebeche, I find it's usually the overweight men with a glass of scotch on the rocks, a wheezy cigarette cough and a gout limp that like to tell me I've ruined my body. Hmmmm....

I've wanted a tattoo for years now... ever since a friend of mine showed me the beautiful, Maori art influenced piece he designed himself... I want something like that for whenever I get homesick and plan to get something when I go back to New Zealand... but I'm not in a rush, I only have a notion of what I want and shan't get anything until I've had a chance to design something that's perfect.

So yeah, tatoos are pretty common in New Zealand, particularly the beautiful, traditional Maori ones. So I've never really seen tatoos as a bad thing, just the ones that are badly done and even then if the person who has the tatoo likes it... then cool. More power to 'em.
