The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

Fabulous as the site may be, and generous as my birthday gifts were (that is I received a fair amount of cash at dinner today), tomorrow's should be the last update I can enjoy for a while. I know not where I will get money from next, when, or how much, so I cannot defend keeping this membership until at least one or two of those questions have been answered. It's been a fun ride, and I'll stay on the forums for sure, but it's time to take a rest stop and have some coffee.

Happy wanking. Nowaysis, now officially 23 years old. smile

Re: The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

Happy birthday, Nowaysis. I'm sorry you're leaving for a while, and I hope you'll be back soon. This sort of thing always looks dark and grim, and I know, because I've been in your situation (and who knows? Might be again). Just a couple of years ago I could never have afforded the relatively small sum that a subscription to this site costs, and I never thought my financial situation would get any better, but it did, to my surprise. Things will work out for the best, I think.

Vi ses! Ha det så bra så länge! IFM är i alla fall en bra motivation för att få loss stålar. smile

Haha, så sant så. big_smile

Hopefully, I will be back soon with even more money (meaning I might be able to pick up BA again). The situation is such that I have been studying, and am now taking a break for about a year (hopefully), and until I get a job, I really can't afford luxuries like IFM and online games (I'm letting my WoW subscription lapse as well)

Oh, you must really be in trouble if you have to let WoW go! I don't play myself, but I have friends who do, and I've seen what that game has done to them! wink

If you're only taking a break, I suppose any job will do, and in that case you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one. Good luck to you! You're a smart and entertaining guy, so we'll be missing you.

Jolicrasseux, how nice to hear from you somewhere other than in the Tech Stuff forum!

Don't worry about your English, it's a million times better than my rusty old French from school, let me tell you. Please join in on the fun here. Sometimes it's more fun than you can stand smile. So far, you have been perfectly understandable, so I think it's your self confidence that's poor, not your English. Also, I see this forum as a great way to practice my English; I've become much better at it since I started getting on people's nerves here with my constant posting. smile

By the way: look at the number of posts Elfman has submitted.

Hope to see more posts from you!

Well, dude, you may be 23 and poor, and Swedish into the bargain (nothing intrinsically wrong with that except for a sex-hostile government), but you have unique distinction of being able to say that YOURS is the testimonial that IFM uses on its front page. Nobody else can make that claim. Hold your head up and take your pride where you can!

Hope to see you back one of these days.

i know. it really IS amazing.

and I'm glad to see you kept your subscription. If I were the head accountant at IFM, I would have given you a freebie just to keep you around! smile

I didn't know it was your birthday Nowaysis.  If I had I would have prepared a suitable greeting picture for you.  Now it is 01:00 AM in England and I have to go to bed so I don't have any time.  May I add to the comments above and echo their sadness at you leaving us.  I have always enjoyed your warm, sensitive contributions to this forum.  I will miss you my friend.  Take care, stay well and hurry back to us as soon as you can.  May you be shagged sensless very soon.

Well I'm a day late, it's lunch time and I've got some time to find you a pic. So it can be from me and Elf if you like. It's a  Sunset over Lake Mälaren. About the wanking tho. Now your advancing in years better go easy, you don't want to upset the old ticker smile

Happy birthday!

Actualy mate 5.72 posts per day over 96 days is a little scary.  Anyone know where I can get a life?

When I come back with money, I'll let you know if I found one outside IFM during my absence. I mean, strictly empirically, if I drop IFM, and suddenly find a life, shouldn't that mean that IFM was preventing me from finding it? roll

Sloppy thinking Nowaysis.  It could be argued that without IFM to inspire you you would never had found that life.  Learn wisdom my young padawan.  The force will guide you.

I agree with Elfman. IFM has almost made come alive again. "Like wow, there are women out there! I had almost forgotten!"

Well, Nowaysis, I don't know if you're lurking about here like a disembodied spirit, but I just wanted you to know that we're thinking of you. Well, I am at any rate. The others probably aren't.

Hey! I still have a friend travelling aimlessly around the Swedish countryside, waiting for Nowaysis to come back and let us know how he can put my little love gift into his hands. . . you as well, you know, sir. wink
