LOL. IFM probably would have paid you to do the research and it would have made a really unique video, never seen one with a plumber in it...

I think you've decided you don't like me and so you'll misinterpret anything I say.
No I think bobby hass explained what she believes really well.

Anyway Jeffo IFM can't change a whole industry overnight.
Also I don't think that simply by being a prostitute your being exploited, if you work legally in a country that gives you proper protection and employment rights you can earn more than a lawyer quite legally.

I agree, which is why I said many, although I probably could have said most.

No not at all, I have a big capacity to like people, just ask Richard, but you don't say much (and what you do is loaded and sometimes offensive) however you've not gone anyways to correct my misinterpretations (I have opened myself up for you to do so numerous times) nor address any of my points. If you're going to make flippant remarks about exploitation and us being pretentious (actually happy to conceded that one) I would just like to engage you thoughtful discussion because I disagree. Saying something like Gala, "what is she on" or how hard can it be to make one update a week or whatever does however make you a tad unlikable, especially since I know how hard they both work at the things you dissed.

I think you seem to be concerned for the welfare of the people who feature in the porn you like and I think if you took pictures of someone naked you'd pay and treat them well. Though all the good experiences you had and friendships you made if you took pics regularly and produced an erotic site would be hidden from the public and even some of your own family, so thats why the good news doesn't come out and the bad does and what we're left with is a distorted perception based on the antics of the very worse.
So I think that is why you felt you had the license to lay into the people on the site and I kind of hope you've come to realise thats not reasonable when this site is ethical and the people who work here are passionate about producing something beautiful and positive that you can enjoy.

Yep, I'd agree with that and bobby's even agreed you can all be a bit pretentious sometimes...

I'm a self made tycoon and independant financial advisor to the stars, theres nothing pretentious about me
I see how you would think we take ourselves to seriously, we are pretty earnest, that's probably a reactionary effect of trying to make stuff we're proud of.
Thats what she said. She's not pretentious, pretentious is when your intentionally trying to be something your not, like a tycoon.

Actually, she did say:

I was more going with this one
pretentious - characterized by assumption of dignity or importance.
Blissed you imply you are not a tycoon here, I never, or I would not have gotten all that finacial advise from you.

Don't worry about losing all that money, I'm not sure now that investing in Lehman Brothers, and a mix of icelandic banks was really right for you, sorry.

Jeffo, I don't see how us being in the same industry as others that are exploited somehow demonises us. We are trying to be the change we want to see in adult industry, or should we just be like everyone else because that's what would make you feel comfortable? You seem to have some issues with the difference you see in IFM and want to break it down to a point where you can force it into your pre existing notions of what pornography is and does.
As Bobby said, you never actually respond to our rebuttal of your statements, you don't seem to want to actually debate or argue (in the truest sense, not in an aggressive way) any of the issues you are raising. You're basically coming off like you're getting on your moral high horse but with little substance or reasoning behind your words.
Now. A question.
Do you buy clothes?
If so, I'd put money on the fact that a decent amount of your wardrobe was produced in less than ethical circumstances, especially if you're wearing 'branded' clothing and a great many people, not only women and also including children were exploited in it's manufacture. Or doesn't that kind of exploitation count...?
Everywhere you look in this world people are being used and stood upon for others financial gain and greed. So instead of flinging mud at the people who aren't going with this norm, why don't you freaking pay a bit of goddamn respect and kudos to the people that aren't treating others like commodities.
I know, it is far far easier to attack us as pretentious than try to modify your own behaviour and thus porn usage to not condone the exploitation you've been talking about. And honestly, as long as you consume porn you really don't have a moral leg to stand on, because as you say it very may be exploitative. So unless what you're watching/buying has a transparent production process, how exactly do you know?
And for the record, I make a lot of my clothes, buy them second-hand, make the occasional one-off handmade purchase or go to 'no sweatshop' retailers... I do not buy from clothing labels I know use sweatshop labour. I also write the occasional condemnatory letter. (I am somewhat known for these letters of dissatisfaction in the feck office)
Does this make me pretentious, or does it mean I actually give a damn?
(Please note: this is a rhetorical question... I already know the answer and so do you)

I try and but clothes that last, as you say almost all clothes are going to be made in an exploitative way. I also somewhat agree with the argument that although child labour is bad, sometimes the alternatives are worse.
I try and shop for food wisely and after a recent trip spent helping to study dolphins, I'm particularly careful about the fish I buy, only locally caught and certainly not farmed.
I have a solar water heater and the majority of my winter heat is provided by a wood stove that burns locally cut olive and oak, which is carbon neutral.
I'm just trying to give a snapshot of the kind of person I am.

I don't suppose there's much point responding to this comment, seeings as you've decreed never to come onto the forum again...
Although, you know, I can't help but be surprised that for someone who obviously does think about the way their choices affect others you still came onto this site and forum, saw we are trying to do and then decided to attack and take cheap shots at it's creator and the people that work hard to make it happen.
It's all a bit bizarre really.
