Gala, that's an awesome quote. Thankyou for sharing that.
A couple of years ago at art school we had a discussion about documentary photography, photography in general, and the way there is an assumed "reality" in what you are seeing. But the very act of framing an image is a decision on the part of the photographer because they have decided what is worth photographing and what is not.
Yeah. It's all really interesting. But also my head hurts from attempting to think when I'm not well!

Hey ngaio get well soon!
I like the 360 degree experience on Google streetview and I did see a 360 video a while ago, I think an HD version of that would be amazing. Imagine a video streetview story of a crime thriller where you solve the crime yourself by moving around the location and seeing the story from different places.

Thanks Blissed!
And that would be amazing... don't know how you'd do it while hiding the cameras, though?

Well on streetview you have a line marking the route of the road with little arrows showing the spot where the next shot is taken from so we're already kind of used to the imposition of control data. I'd cover the cameras with a vector graphic like computer generated 3D version of the arrows clearly marking where the camera is so you can click on it at any time to see it's view but hiding it's real image and so it's presence in the films reality.
