I really love good pole dancing. I would love to film it beautifully without the context of a strip club. So sans g-string, shoes, red curtain etc. and even though I know all the strip club stuff is cool in a certain way I would love to see an instance when that was all stripped away and it was just about a body floating around a pole, so powerfully feminine, graceful and sexy

Ooh yes! that would be really good, make it so!

Actually any club that does pole dancing has lights so they can be used creatively as in the IFM studio, then close up shots in slow motion set to the right music. I'd put an SLR taking 1080 video on the floor at the base of the pole looking up to take wide angle shots and I'd also take some shots from that position zoomed right into where her body contacts the pole. I'd film everything on slow motion then I'd have the option of normal speed too.

Praps I should make it so, I just need the SLR. Make cheques payable to me here at Bath bus station and I'll see what I can do

Oooo sounds exciting!! Pole dancing is certainly beautiful and I'm all for taking it into a different context to show that it really is an art form.

I am always in awe of people who can do such amazing things with their body. It makes me feel so clunky and clumsy! I saw Cirque De Soleil this weekend and the things people could do with their bodies absolutely blew my mind!
