The Earth AngelTHE EARTH ANGEL is a brand new innovatively designed adult toy designed and developed in Ireland. It is the first ever adult toy to contain "green" technology. Over the last few years there have been attempts made to produce a 100% environmentally friendly sex toy but none have so far lived up to expectations. "Green" sex toy manufacturers are focusing more on the materials used in their toys than the operation of the toys. There have been some offerings of solar powered and moon powered toys but these are not without their disadvantages.
THE EARTH ANGEL has all the benefits and none of the disadvantages. Unlike traditional "green" toys it will never require replacement batteries as it houses its own patented power core. Intense vibrations from the word go. A specially adapted key is fitted within the base and is extracted and turned to initiate the power core. A few quick turns ....... and hey presto!! ....... you have a fully charged, incredibly intense vibrator. All elements of THE EARTH ANGEL have been used with the environment in mind, from the internal parts to the outer packaging. We have only produced our vibrator in one colour, white, in keeping with the concept behind the product.
THE EARTH ANGEL is manufactured exclusively for Caden Enterprises to the highest quality control standards by MotionTouch and has been given a medical certificate of quality. We have designed our packaging to display THE EARTH ANGEL to its best advantage.
Clear, clean and 100% recyclable.....
Sounds really interesting, though if that noise the website makes is the same noise the vibrator makes, I am a little freaked out!

It looks like something out of Star Wars. Would be cool if it glowed like a lightsaber. But what is this mysterious power core?

It's The Force.
Actually good question, I did a little more research, still not sure what the power core is but I found these videos:

So it looks like a bit of pre-planning is required, unless you want to spend 4-8 minutes winding it up when you're all hot and bothered. Still, a lovely idea.

It's a dynamo. Like those torches where you squeeze the handle to charge it up and it lasts a few minutes. This would have a chemical battery which is charged by winding the handle (or 'key' as they prefer to put it lightly), but see how hard it was for her to turn - four minutes of that is bloody hard work, more wrist-cracking than the average manual session I would reckon. This is classic greenwashing - a product which not only isn't green (consider the manufacturing processes, raw materials, and disposal issues) but isn't labour saving either.

Those little plastic winding handles break off too. Better to build something into the saddle of an exercise bike powered by a dynamo from the peddles.

Yeah I was talking to a couple of friends about it this weekend and their opinions were very similar. Ahhh well, it was a nice thought!

What they had the bicycle idea too? it's the obvious way to go I think.

Haha, no not exactly, that's your idea and you can have it
Though on second thought, it WOULD be a great way to motivate people such as myself who hate exercise...
