Talking about sex at parties...

How openly will you discuss sex with people? Especially people you've only just met?

Up until I was about 16, I was afraid to say the word "vagina".

These days, largely thanks to the internet and art school and now my job I tend to talk about sex quite openly and have found it makes for some great conversations at parties. Just recently, I learned how a 50 year old man lost his virginity when he was a young, conservative Catholic. I think it would freak my dear mama out if she knew I was talking to 50 year old men about their sex lives but it is fascinating.

I've noticed that people in general, even those who seem very conservative, welcome the chance to talk about their views on sex, etc and really do come up with some amazing stories.

But perhaps this is the sort of people I associate with. What are your own experiences? Do you tend to keep this stuff private or will you happily talk about sex to people in "the real world"?
