Thanks but I'll stick to the summer solstice.  And I do believe Bobby was out photographing her favourite subject at sunset last night, I wonder if she'll post any?

Oh yeah I forgot the world is round :) My brain is stuffed up with the flu at the moment so I've got a very very good excuse. Those pics of bobby and the sun you mentioned, their gonna be good and I think seeing them could play some small part in helping me recover.

Anyway, happy summer Solstice to everyone in the southern hemisphere.

nihpuad I like the pics of your house, the red balustrade is a good choice of colour to go with the snow. It's a nice place too in amongst the trees, I don't see any nieghbours with competing displays of external Christmas lights though, I think the nieghbourhoods let itself down there :)

I shall post them here  www.justaperfectday.wordpress.com   as I have been waiting for an opportunity to tell the forums about said blog. It's mostly about swamps and insects but there's some nakedness too, you know to keep peoples interested! Come say hello. x
