Inappropriate

I was disappointed that my post "failures" was described so many times as "inappropriate".
I love this site but do think that some of the posters could do with a good injection of ironic awareness.
How much more ridiculous is masturbating and failing to come than masturbating and coming. How much more ridiculous than both is spending the majority of your life in a job or relationship which you hate.
Having made an arse of myself too many times to count I have reached a point of awareness that I can accept my own preposterousness and the preposterousness of those around me. I am better at my job, at relationships, at sex, and much more compassionate than I was in my youth. Making an arse of yourself is what it is all about, and in that respect I owe a lot to exhibitionistic masturbation (and penetration, oral sex, ect ect ect), and the passage of a god many years.
So get some 50 plus women on this site. Their motivations and demeanour will be different to those of younger women. Not for them the comfort that they are taking part in the latest trend that will win the adulation of their peers. No we will see true character, truely inspirational sex, and, if they are inspired at all by the ridiculous, the odd tacky nurse costume.

Re: Inappropriate

Metro,
I was very sensitive to the mention  for a failure thread as it were. I have had to take a whole hockey sock full of medications after a car crash. It has effected my sexlife from basic self love, to all other aspects,(save my giving oral). It is THE most disappointing thing I have ever dealt with.
I agree that failure is a part of life, which brings us back to reality, or humbleness. But when failure is the norm, rather than occasionally, it is very difficult (Thank the good Lord for Viagra tongue)
I recall a friend of mine having had a horrible arguement with his wife. She would not even join in the morning ritual of  group coffee. Inquires with him resulted in his explanation. He told us after 25 years together, thier sex life was listless, and passionless. The were making love the night before and he said it appeared they were both bored. So he asked her " Can't you think of anyone either"!

Oh, wah wah wah.  Stop trying to blame your unpopular statements on the rest of the community.  The assumptions you've made above about our contributors are pretty out-of-bounds and offensive, my friend, and I for one would love it if you found somewhere else to spout off your wise and knowing preposterousness.

Re: Inappropriate

metrosexualbloke - I can barely be bothered responding to this post.

You said some things previously in the forum under the title 'failures' and it didn't go down well, why can't you have the good grace to just accept that?  In that thread you seemed to actually get what we were all saying about why its not appropraite and now in the next breath we all need a dose of ironic awareness???

And for the love of all that is holy we cannot *make* older women participate here!  We have no way of drumming up mature contributors.  This has been asked and discussed in this forum so many times.  Go search through the forum and you will see the many many requests for older women.

I honestly don't think you're that self aware metro - because from were I'm sitting your posts seem almost deliberately antagonistic in nature.  Are you trying to get a reaction from the people here!?!

Because if you are it certainly seems to be working.  Congratulations.

And our responses.  And a dissection of all of the issues that might account for the general age demographic of this and many, many other sexy websites.

Don't like to just flame and today I've had hopefully some constructive thoughts and may have some advice to give.
The social norm in some parts of society of condemning people who appear in sexual images is ridiculous, but that sets a tone by which some people feel (either subconsciously or consciously) they have the license to treat them with contempt. As you've noticed thats not acceptable here at all. Treating sexual images and the people in them with respect just feels right to me, is very often a lovely feeling for the people who are giving you pleasure, and also unburdens you of negativity and guilt and means everyone can have a really good positive experience.
