My friend Stephen is always sending me all these YouTube links with cute kittens and puppies in them while I'm at work... it helps pass the day! Although the other day it was one of a prawn on an underwater treadmill.... hmmm.

Be nice if theres someone who builds there music around the special qualities of an Australian accent. This is a band that uses an Ozzy accent, tho the emotional space is very much derivative gangsaish hip hop American. If you don't find that too off putting, (and thats true of most hip hop I like tho really) musically I think their really good.

Punk and 80's new wave isn't American music with a British accent, it seems to have been built from the ground up around the london cockney accent with it's melodic influences from old time music hall, Ian Dury is probly a good example. I'm sure the same could be done for the Australian accent.

I thought this was photoshopped but it's not, these machines are real, as you can see more clearly in the 2nd video and live powered by the wind, autominously on the beach, sensing the tides and moving so they don't drown. I don't think he's got any of them to go surfing yet tho :)

I dig it, one of my secret pleasures is watching Grand Ole Opry infomercials late at night. Loads of classic clips. I love it when their sequined outfits would glint in that old B+W 2 inch Quadruplex videotape from the 50's and 60's.
