Hi, everyone! I'm not sure if someone has already introduced this blog to the forum, but either way, I think it's important to bring it (back?) to the forefront. It's a blog called Junkfood Science written by Sandy Szwarc, an RN with a good deal of credentials that (for me, at least) lend a good deal of credence to what she has to say. Her blog focuses on the ways in which the media twists, misinterprets, or downright fabricates scientific research in order to promote its own agenda, particularly with issues surrounding weight. She tackles the growing trends of fat prejudice both here in the States and overseas and tries to help lead her readers toward a more balanced view of health and medicine. Basically, she rocks my world, and I want to bring her blog to the attention of as many people as possible. Her blog was introduced to me by a friend, and I'm very grateful for that.
