interview segments...

First I'd like to say this is the ONLY pay-site I've ever subscribed to and/or wanted to. The Subject matter is my favorite and the videography, editing and creative lighting first captured and then maintained my interest. That said...the interview segments tend to cause me great pain. Let me explain.

The subject matter of an authentic female orgasm, captured on film is fantastic. (Wish I'd thought of it) Getting to know the woman behind the on screen visuals via personal questions, adds to the appeal of a woman willing to lay out her self pleasuring for the world-wide web to view. Bless you all!

I have; however, a small observation...when watching some of the interviews the middle school-girl, embarassed, overly loud, non-stop giggling and uncomfortable laughter when TALKING about masturbation, coupled with a thick Aussie accent, make it VERY hard for this "Yank" to follow. It also makes it difficult to believe the tenant of this site to be true as these women laugh self conciously and giggle when asked "So...when did you first discover your clitoris?"

I'd appreciate some in-site from anyone able to explain the adolesent attitude when talking about female self-gratification. I assure you, I'll continue to subscribe to IFM, but forgive me if i just skip the interview segments.

Re: interview segments...

but seriously I don't know what your on about. We have heaps of great interviews where ladies are very frank and not at all self concious. Laughing's fun, I do it whenever possible!

Re: interview segments...

I think a lot of the giggling stems from the fact that for many people being asked direct questions about their sexuality is quite confronting especially when asked by a stranger. They may not be used to discussing it and have difficulty articulating what they mean which feels embarrassing making them nervous and giggly. Some contributors who's interviews you might like to check out are Gala, Lia, Bridgett, Gabrielle and Asha. Also for another kind of laughter check out Spangles interview, one of my favourites on the site.

I don't see how some embarrassed laughter devalues the tenants of the site though all it demonstrates to me is that they're a bit flustered. I actually think one of the interesting aspects of the interviews is how previously Liandra and now Gala ease them into being more open and comfortable which is something I would just be terrible at.

Re: interview segments...

Ooh, what a good time to get my verbosity out.  Too bad it's almost time to go and tonight I'm going to fucking roll with the Melby Grind Girls.  Good thing I'll be here so fresh-faced and bushy-tailed tomorrow so I can give it a what for.

And yes, I'll try to get these girls under control.  The 'no giggling in Lucubrations' rule is effective immediately.  Cate, we're going to have to re-do ours, because you made me giggle in that one.

Re: interview segments...

I think the lacerbations should be overdubed by an actor from England so they can be understood by everyone. I could do that. I like the laughing, so when they laugh I'll laugh too ha ha ha ha ha

it makes everything more jolly.

Excuse me.  If any English actor gets this gig it's going to be me.
