I assume most have read about Billie Eilish's comments regarding the negative impact porn has had on her. I know from my own experience, watching "mainstream" porn has in the past caused a spiral into more and more extreme porn to get off.
I appreciate sites and work such as IFM to foster more ethical and self-affirming erotica. I only wish it was the rule rather than the exception.

I think unfortunately the due diligence needed to make free pornography ethical isn’t affordable on the business model.
Apparently in terms of mainstream video YouTube wasn’t profitable as late as 2014/15 (https://daringfireball.net/linked/2015/ … ube-profit) so you can see why even the largest free porn sites would struggle to be profitable and ethical.

There's also the question of what makes porn ethical. Interestingly, in a recent straw poll around IFM staff and contributors, most of them cited gender inclusivity as their main yardstick for porn ethics.

For me IFM is absolutely not a porn site. On the contrary, it is the site very respectful of women and their partners in the few videos of couples. It's a site where a lot of men should subscribe to see and understand how women can achieve pleasure. With these videos, we can access the real and deep conviction that sexuality is first and foremost a personal matter. I am delighted to see so many women of all ages who know each other well and know how to give each other orgasms, I am very happy for them and I thank them for sharing it with usin such a beautiful way.

Actually I hadn't, but now I'm curious. Could you maybe post a link to a reliable direct source please? I fear trying to google this topic might lead to a lot of misinformation. Even more than the usually search since some might try and twist any statement on such a topic to meet their own agenda.

Billie came out in a Der Spiegel interview (also with her mom no less) where she gave away her secret of dealing with stress and she admitted, her mom laughing, that she loves to masturbate.
As for IFM? It's art. The women consent to being here. It's ethical. It is one of the few sites, if not the only one, I visit for porn. If you don't pay for it, don't watch it. My opinion at least.
