Lucys' comment about group sex

I'm curious about her saying that such activity has been off limits, during the damned lock down.  Who's going to enforce the prohibition?  I haven't changed my behavior one damned bit, and neither has anyone whom I'd call a friend.  Don't be sheep, people.  Stand up for yourselves.  Rights that are given away are seldom regained by peaceful means.

Hi Norm, sorry this is not really the place to debate covid theories!

Just believe Lucy when she tells you, we really weren't able to have group sex adventures during our covid lockdowns here, and it was really hard. Fortunately, lucy wasn't totally alone during her lockdown experience <3

Well, I'm glad to hear that, at least.  I haven't stood for this lock down nonsense from the beginning.  It's gotten me into a couple of shouting matches, but I've found that most people back down if you stand up to them.  There's a lumber yard here in town that my family and I patronized for close to 70 years.  I've even let the manager hunt deer, on my land.  He tried to hand me a mask, the last time I went in there and got snotty when I told him what he could do with it.  That place won't see another dime from me, ever.

If we’d locked down sooner like Australia we’d have been able to go clubbing and to festivals and all sorts for months and months.

So he hunts deer on your land and you think he owes you for the rest of his life and maybe even for his life.  It's sad to read posts like this but maybe the sentiments expressed help explain the tragic death rate in the US from Covid

My friend's husband won’t let her visit any friends or family. He has made her stop all contact with them unless it’s on the phone or computer. He reads and censors her comments on social media.
He makes her feel like she's going crazy for thinking he’s controlling, and that she is being ungrateful. (After all, he’s only doing this because of how much he cares about her.)
He doesn’t want her going to the gym anymore, so she doesn’t go. He also doesn’t let her go to work anymore (he told her to only rely on him for income and that he will take care of her).
She's not really allowed to go out anymore, unless it’s for necessities, and when she does, he makes sure to have people guilt trip her about it and shame her for it.
He wants her to have this medical procedure done and tells her that if she does it, he will allow her more freedoms.
He constantly says he's only doing all of this because he cares... he is just doing it for her own good.
Oh wait....did I say husband? I meant the government.
My bad.
You have been conditioned to be outraged if another person did this to their spouse, but be passive & compliant when it comes to our government.

People have quarantined for centuries during pandemics. Newton discovered gravity while quarantining for a pandemic. This is how we deal with public health emergencies and don’t land up like India now.

It’s boring and tedious and no one likes it or wearing masks, but at least we have video calls now.

Plus we sound like we might have learned how to vaccinate against malaria and hopefully the common cold and flu - but even so cloth masks help a lot.
