I know that British tv is quite liberal in many ways, but allowing swearing on Neighbours to go out is a real shock.

I have to say though, that Paul Robinson really is a complete f*cker!

I don't know what "Neighbours" is, or who the frick Paul Robinson is, but I can say that "FRICKIN!" has been a time honored tradition in American broadcasting for years. Morning radio is especially notorious. Our most popular morning radio DJ in my humble little city routinely refers to people as "mother-huckers" on-air all the time. Nice, huh.

"Neighbours" is a rather tounge-in-cheek Australian soap opera which has had a huge following on British televison for as long as I can remember.

I'm assuming that you've heard of the diminutive yet sexy-as-hell Aussie singer Kylie Minouge (I believe she's quite well known in the US)? If the answer is yes then she actually started out on Neighbours as a young actress.

Actually the former cast member most likely to be recognised in the US might well be Alan Dale, who for years played Jim Robinson (Paul's Dad). A quick glance on IMDB reveals appearances in Lost, Ugly Betty, 24, The OC, and ER to name but a few.

I think Delta Goodrem may well have shifted quite a few records Stateside as well.
