I was at the gym earlier today and noticed this pretty girl running on a treadmill. (I give y'all a moment to get over rolling your eyes over the fact that I check out women at the gym. You know you all do it, too.)

This girl had her shoulder-length hair back in a ponytail, and it was swishing back and forth as she ran... and it dawned on me that I'd seen that same sight -- the swishing ponytail -- often, both at the gym and when I see women jogging on the streets of my neighborhood. It's never failed to charm me, and it charmed me again today. It's not a ponytail fetish; it didn't really turn me on... didn't get me all hot and revved up. It was just... well, adorable.

So I was wondering, since we've had the fetish discussion, whether anyone else has these little not-quite-fetish triggers?

A girl's swishing ponytail, without a doubt sexy, I'm totally with you there. Any girl's ponytail is inherently cute as far as I'm concerned. A ponytail reveal's a girl's neck, what's not sexy about that?

Conjure images of a girl riding a pony, the name "ponytail" itself can be filled with innuendo. Despite the fact that it was probably just given due to the fact that the hair style resembles a pony's tail.

I see girls with ponytails jogging in my neighborhood in warmer weather all the time, its always sexy. There's something about a girl exercising or working-out that can be a huge turn-on.

There's that whole relaxed look about a ponytail too. Really attractive, and laid-back. I had a girlfriend who's roommate used to walk around their apartment all the time in her pajamas with her hair in a ponytail. I ended up developing a semi-crush on her. She definitely charmed me.

Do I have any other little not-quite-fetish triggers? God, I would hope I do 'till the day I die.

About 6 months ago I was at my fencing club and met a new member. She was tall, slim and elegant. Moved like a dancer. As we are both sabreurs we had a bout later in the evening. She beat the crap out of me. Now that was sexy.

No it's the white, tight uniforms which does it for me. Incredibly sexy. Plus the very physical nature of sabre fencing and strong, confident women.
