That's always been my take. I think he's a lot more tolerant and friendly to people as individuals than he is to those who he has grouped together in his mind to rally against.

Which I think (or rather hope) is what people are like in general. Meeting a single person face to face, with all that entails, is a very different experience to hearing about, or even researching a group of people who propagate a certain idea one does not agree with.
That said, Bullshit is an awesome show in more ways than my slightly tipsy mind knows how to describe.
