good vibrations, a sex-positive, lady-and-queer-friendly sex shop based in san francisco, has started their own little video project which launched sometime over the last few months. i think the concept is great for sex education - another point for the internet for getting the word out about sexuality and sexual health. they have videos about products, physiological stuff, their work, lifestyle, etc. they're not the most well-produced and sometimes they make you feel a bit awkward becuase the folks in them look a bit awkward. but super nonetheless.

i'd love to participate in something like that because i think it's great for the folks who give us erotic imagery to take some responsibility for educating us as well, but of course we'd need a different approach. doing the 'street talk' thing and engaging with the public sector doesn't really seem like the IFM approach - we tend to keep it behind closed doors, or at least in semi-remote public locations. i think there are some folks here who do use this site to educate themselves about their sexual possibilities, so there's lots of space there to give them more info. we could just do it naked.

but until then, check out the gvtv thing...just be prepared for the occasional puppet.

Seriously though, its good to see people (and puppets) doing something to redress the horrendous amount of misinformation about sex that is floating around out there.

We have actually filmed some vox pops ages ago (we sent Tommy out to the streets with some dirty questions) but I haven't had time to edit them yet! Hmmm I wonder if Cate fancies some non naked ladies work.
I would be super keen to enter something in the film festival but they don't say if they're going to hold another one.

Very funny but what no sexy demonstrations some are a bit too obviously marketing tools but still endearing. I checked out there erotic art gallery and I think it's a pretty strong example of how erotic (visual) art has stagnated.

Arielle how did you know of my love of naked ladies I'd been trying so hard to hide it but clothed ladies telling funny/sexy stories are almost as good so I don't think I'll be striking too soon.
