I'm trying to guess at what point (we may have already crossed it) that we switch from Viva's to Laney's video descriptions. They might also be called teases.

I detect a subtle shift, but that may just be the breeze from Viva's peasant skirt as she flounces out the door.

Aww thank you Monotreme! I wish I could say that I'll be writing the teasers but I won't be... they will be written by a new person. Viva went into overdrive in her last weeks writing blurbs for videos well in advance, so the changeover won't happen for a while. Aven and I watched in awe one day as she got through nearly a month of blurbs in a matter of hours.

I keep expecting to see her at her desk in faded denim shorts with one bare foot on her desk chair, a concentrated look on her face... then I remember it's my desk now. Viva left big shoes to fill but I'm looking forward to my reign as the new pretty pretty princess of the forum.

Viva had a natural talent for writing and her blurbs were a small indication of that gift. I always looked forward to her new offerings and she never failed to exceed my expectations.

That's a bit sad in its own way. But people do need to move on and as much success as Viva generated at IFM, I'm sure you'll do the same in your roles to come. It takes big people to fill big shoes. You'll be just great.

A new staff member who may or may not appear on the forum sometime. I think the last of Viva's blurbs has already been published and we're heading into new territory now...

A marked change in style of blurbs about a week ago. Not better or worse, just different from Viva's distinctive style. Welcome Blurb writer, whoever you are !

There's still a few of Viva's part 2 (and 3 and 4 and 5 and 6, 'Powerplay') blurbs coming up, like todays 'Plane Spotter' but from 'Mine' onwards it's been our new peep. Nicely spotted Erolscom. Welcome new peep!

Do we ever get to learn anything about New Peep? Or are the blurbs now to be thought of as the product of a strange, Thomas Pynchonesque recluse?

I almost favor the latter.

I'm not sure what will happen... New Peep is a bit shy but they did submit a recent photo with their CV

In my opinion they are very well suited for the job.
