So Miley Cyrus decided to pre-empt a nude photo leak by providing nude photos to V Magazine herself. Go Miley!
Here's an interesting article about womens' reactions to Miley's nudity, and all women who freely show themselves naked:
Nude shaming: Why do we think we're better than women who take their clothes off?
I'm lucky in that I've never been overtly slut-shamed for working for Feck or anything else, but I'm not completely free of the mentality that it's wrong to be free in your nudity/sexuality.
What do you think of her releasing these photos?

I think it was bound to happen from seeing what she does in her shows. I don't find it wrong at all, real shocker right coming from me being a man and all. If someone wants to get naked and show people why not? There is nothing wrong with it. There is nothing wrong with masturbating infront of the camera either. if people don't like it they don't have to watch, it doesn't make it wrong. I wish more women would get naked, free your bodies we were born that way. Show me what you got lol

Yayyyyyy, go Miley! I think it's great! The more fuck you's that women, especially women in the public eye, can send out into the world regarding this awful belief that women shouldn't be proud of and own their sexuality and bodies and consequently need to be slut-shamed for it, the better. That was a very long sentence, sorry guys.

I hate to admit it, but I used to be an AWFUL slut-shamer. I also spent all of my teenage years being slut-shamed. I was so anti anything to do with females embracing their sexuality and the sex industry for so many years. I think a lot of it stemmed from my own personal feelings of inadequacy regarding my body and general self esteem and also just a lack of understanding of the adult industry. Add to that this the societal belief that women enjoying sex is wrong, but I really enjoyed sex, and I was a very confused girl. I'm very lucky in the sense that my friends are incredibly open minded people and I would say that about 80% of my friends know about my work here (the other 20% don't know purely because I don't see them often). I personally try to be as open as I can about my work with Feck, because a huge turning point for me in my acceptance of women working in the sex industry was when a very new friend of mine that I'd met not long after moving to Melbourne, told me she used to be a sex worker and loved it. All of the women that I know that are current sex workers or work in the adult industry (including Feck) are actually very amazing - they are smart and witty and strong and fun and love what they do. So now when I criticize things like the porn industry, I don't tear down the women. My issues are with the fact it's a male run institution that portrays women in a shallow, degrading, objectifying way (which has been extensively discussed within the Feck forums).
And that is what Elsa thinks of slut-shaming, the end.
