Re: The question game

In a round-a-bout way.

I've been told a few conflicting results when it came to past life regression.

So far I have been:
-A Queens Champion back in the time of the Celts.
-A Healer from Atlantis. (If it existed)
-A Viking Battle Chief.
-An American Shaman.
-A Japanese Swordsman.

But what I want to know is, if there is any truth in Reincarnation, Where are all the ordinary people?

It's not that I dont mind being told by a psychic that I was one the protector of a monarch. But I have heard alot of stories about people who have had their past lives read, and they are these famour people from the past who did all these things that changed the world. There were never any stories about sewer scrapers, or cobblers, or farmers - ordinary people that the world is made of.

Maybe it was the paths we chose in our lives that drew us to these conclusions. I know I strive to live a life that isn't boring. But realistically speaking, if I was reincarnated I'm sure I would have been an ant once. A wood cutter perhaps. Maybe even a manager of some kind. I could have been anything as well as the list above.
I am a believer in reincarnation, and as a believer I have learned one thing:
Believers are the biggest skeptics.

What is your favourite Chuck Norris Fact?

Re: The question game

Chuck Norris can move things with his mind. He really can.

I've got a goldfish called Chuck Norris, who is in a tank with fellow fish Bronson, Genghis Khan, Hitler and Fattie. Hitler is a tiny little fish with a strange black moustache. Ive also got a yabbie (Its an Aussie type of fresh water crayfish / crustacean) called Pinchy, but we now think Pinchy might be a girl, so its Pincharella.

Hmm. Today's question is:
If you were riding into some mythical battle what would you have as backing music and what would you be wearing?

This question has been inspired by an office quest that resulted to me foraging through various genres of heavy metal music and coming across German Viking Metal.

Re: The question game

Wow! thanks Arielle, I've done some googling and you've just got me into a whole new type of music!! I haven't been this excited since I found Christian metal smile

If I was riding into a mythical battle I'd get off my horse and stride into battle to the tune of "you got me dancing yeah" by the Bee gees.

Do you know that at ISM forum you can post all sorts of devices in HTML script ? it's brilliant!! http://www.ishotmyself.com/forums/showt … 0#post9630

If you like, you can answer either yes, or no, or "oh really!"

If someone offered you the chance to make a movie of the book of your choice what would it be?

(Jumping in before the resident virgin has the chance to answer with "sex"... wink )

Being spanked has been an erotic fantasy of mine for a long time, but it's never happened: In my single days, I dated a couple girls who might've been into that stuff, but never dated them long enough to get to that point, my longer-term relationships have been with women who didn't seem likely to be into it, and though I've been known to employ sex workers at times in my life, the idea of paying a complete stranger to hit me is just a hair outside my comfort zone.

If you could remove one specific event from history (and I mean one event not a whole sweeping historical process such as "the Holocaust"), what would it be, and why?

UPPDATE: Elf and I seem to have been typing at the same time. I declare both our qeustions open for answer! wink

Well, if the events of September 11th hadn't occurred, George W. Bush may not have been able to whip the weak-minded and weak-willed into supporting various agendas that have done a great deal of harm to my country, the world, and my country's relationship to the world. (I hate to even open the possibility of another political thread, but it's the most honest answer I can give)

Instead of asking another question, I'll let someone answer the other one Elf left open.  It's a good one, and one I can't think of an answer for yet.

Re: The question game

Good one, Polarchill.

And Elfman -- sex in the 21st century is RICH! well done.

The book of my choice made into a movie, if it's a book that's already been published, would have to be, hands down, In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje.

If it can be ANY book, please allow me to recommend my forthcoming memoir, "The Thirteen Dreams of Thisbe Janucek."

I can't wait to read that Siobhan.  When does it come out?  Good luck with it.  advertise it here when it's published and you are guaranteed a few hundred sales from IFM subscribers I should think.

Re: The question game

And when it's made into a movie, I'll get it on DVD. I here not only is Britney Speres making a comeback she's looking round for a leading movie roll.

If you woke up as the opposite gender, what's the 1st thing you'd do?

Re: The question game

Why,  fuck me, of course!

I'd also like to see a proper Dune movie.  Without Brittney, or at least without her underpants.

Who would you like one last chance to talk to, and what would you say?

To be or not to be- Hamlet
To live is to fly- Townes Van Zant
Do be do be do; Come fly with me- Frank Sinatra

Re: The question game

An employer I had a French Cafe a few years ago. He was a total pervert and I was really young and didn't know much about standing up for myself. If the cafe was still standing (no- I did not burn it down) I'd go in there and explain that talking to a woman like that was So Not Okay. This would do absolutely nothing, so I'd follow it up with a fabulously dramatic back hander to the cheek and stride out of there renewed.

If you could engineer an extra feature into your mobile phone what would it be?

I really, really hate cell phones, so this is really the only thing I can think of that could turn my attitude around.

If you could go back in time just far enough to steal the credit for the invention of any device, or the creation of any novel, film, etc., which would you choose?

I think I'm a mixture of  Fozzie Bear and Kermit.

Before I was born my mum was abducted by Aliens (Zibalian). I can mind meld, see through walls and slow down or speed up time (which comes in really handy when I'm late for work. ) I've never really researched my ethnicity much. Is anyone else here either a Crystalline Entity, cyborg or part alien and if you have any special powers could you please declare them now?

I'm an Indigo Child.

If anyone saw John Saffran Vs. God mine was one of the names listed when he did his story on Indigo Children. I am able to speak the star language to a degree, but have never found anyone to communicate with.

It would be either:

A.) The Strongbadia National Anthem. http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail32.html

or

B.) D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. by Kevin Bloody Wilson.

What is your prefered crime and why?

max wrote:

what is an Indigo Child?

An Indigo Child is a New Age term for children who are born anywhere around the 1970's onward. These are children who possess a kindred link of sorts with others like them. They are naturally more spiritually in touch with themselves and the world around them.

Some of the characteristics of an Indigo have often been mis-diagnosed as ADHD as they are more inclined to creative and practical persuits rather than ritualistic, repetitive tasks.

This is by Wendy H. Chapman, Director of the Metagifted Educational Resourse Organisation.
"Indigo Children are named for the predominant auric color of indigo (an ink-like dark blue with a touch of red). The color indigo represents the third eye chakra, the energy center of psychic activity, which is believed to be wide open on most Indigos. Indigos experience a thinner "veil" or separation between the earth and the spirit worlds, and they are able to access information many cannot. Most of the behaviors of Indigos are explainable by this aspect of a thinner veil."

For more information, go here: http://www.metagifted.org/topics/metagifted/indigo/

Another characteristic is the phenomenon known as The Star Language. To listen to the actual translation that was televised on John Safran's show go here:
http://www20.sbs.com.au/speakingintongu … hp?pg=epis

Melbourne based Indigo Child, Solreta Antaria gave the viewers a message in the Star Language and John challenged Australia to translate it. There were hundreds of bullshit entries, but only a few serious attempts (mine was one of them smile ).
