Distinct feminine sexualities.

Hi everyone

Here is a cool article about how women like cock and how soon in the future with the coming of the feminism and less sexually repressive stigmatisation of desire they're gonna like it even more. I keep telling people, in the matriachy everyone gets laid, all the time.

"This growing body of research offers concrete examples of the insight that a gendered sexual culture, as a social phenomenon with the power to inhibit or license particular sexual thoughts, feelings and decisions, is literally incorporated into female bodies. It’s bold to assume that somewhere in the fluid, intertwined mess of biology and culture from which sexual development emerges uniquely for each individual, over a lifetime, there is a universal, timeless and distinctly feminine sexuality."

Re: Distinct feminine sexualities.

Whether women's desires are considered "more base" and required "men’s greater rationality-based restraint" to keep sexual relations "elevated" as the article claims was the case in Renaissance Europe, or else nonexistant as they were considered in the Victorian era, or thoroughly mysterious as female desire seems to be considered to be now, one thing goes unchanging - male sexuality is the standard, female sexuality the 'other'. This is boring and irrelevant to me. I'm not the other to myself, but for the purpose of intellectual examination I can't help but other myself - it's all I know, all I've been taught.

Between the great equalization effect of the Internet, a great increase in moral permissiveness as the hey-day of religion draws to a slow close,  and the oft-whispered advent of male hormonal birth control, we are bound for a whole new era of sexuality in general. I look forward to it, hoping that future generations are raised with a focus on loving their own bodies and all the things they're capable of, while also encouraged to have a broad general respect for each other, for honesty and for love.

Cause while what we got at the moment seems to be better than what came before, it's still not really good, is it?

Re: Distinct feminine sexualities.

Yep, the real world ramifications of the 'othering' of female bodies is pretty fucking dire. The NFL Ray Rice situation and the Fappenings are current and good examples.

On the contrary though Viva, the 'othering' of my body and sexuality are most interesting and relevant to me. Being pissed at something is good for my creative energy. I also get big kicks out of other creators (including yourself) that dabble in transgressive efforts to complicate normative notions of sex, sexuality and gender binaries. I suspect this is part of the answer to a brighter future for sexing and ladies (and cocks too). So much is about who tells the stories and men, white men have been telling the stories of women for so long.

Here is a another cool article about 'othered' bodies and the way Nicki Minaj and Kara Walker fuck that shit up, with great intention and complexity.

Re: Distinct feminine sexualities.

Very interesting articles and discussion.

Here are some women with an indiegogo campaign to raise money to print guides to the female orgasm and hand them out to first year uni students. They haven't printed them yet so we can't pass any judgement on the contents, but I think it's a really cool idea. More orgasms for ladies and better sex for everyone!
