Photographer Ben Hopper took some portraits of beautiful women with armpit hair in a series called "Natural Beauty".
Since it's about female body hair people have said it "redefines female natural beauty", but his rationale behind the project is much more like "take pictures of pretty girls and use the controversy around female body hair to get attention without making any meaningful statements about it". In this interview the most he could say bout it was "I probably subconsciously think it's quite beautiful" and focussed on how he would get a lot of attention from the photos.
But I like pretty girls with armpit hair and the photos are nice so I thought I'd post them here anyway.

I found this video where a hairless woman suddenly grows body hair
http://www.nowness.com/day/2014/5/6/3854/les-fleurs
It reminded me of the "expanding boobs" thing
By the way are there still armpit hair fans on IFM? I know it's been discussed at length in the past but people have been kinda quiet lately, just wondering if people are still interested.

I rather like armpit hair, particularly if the woman has a very feminine appearance. I think my early exposure to the pen-and-ink drawings in Joy of Sex influenced my early sexual preferences.
I'm less enamored of leg hair, and I have no idea why I would make a distinction but the mind desires what it wants.

Wow, I didn't know the illustrations in the original Joy of Sex featured ladies with underarm hair. In the first episode of Sex: an Unnatural History they compared models who looked like the drawings in the original version with models who looked like the drawings in the 2008 version. The people in the 2008 version were younger, less curvy and had much less body hair...
I am less enamoured of leg hair as well, though I feel like if I keep growing mine eventually I will like it more. My least favourite kind of hair on myself is nipple hair, but I also think it looks strange when it's completely removed. It just has to be not too long/thick. I like nipple hair on other girls though, like Fanny from IShotMyself

Yes, and I remember it because the author's contention was that the hair helped trap body odor, thereby enhancing the experience. My current gf, who is not into body odor at all, finds this hard to believe.

nice picture. I think people with body hair do smell different, but it's a smell I prefer. I find that when there's no hair there, the sweat is wet and slick and over the course of the day, gets a trapped moisture smell, or worse to me, the smell of trapped deodorant. Whereas hair does carry a person's personal odor, but it smells musky and whole and not "trapped" to me, the opposite.
But I like a person's smell, in fact it's something important to me and not offensive. The only thing that is really offensive to me is when someone (especially me) experiences fear or stress during the day, I can really smell it as part of their odor and it's bad.

Have you heard about the "sweaty t-shirt" study? It found that people are more attracted to the smell of people with immune system genes that are very different to their own and less attracted to people with similar immune systems. So, I've always thought of how much I like a person's smell as a very important part of how sexually attracted I am to them.
These videos explain it better than I have:

It's Animals!
From her instagram:
"It's really annoying for me to post this without feeling it as something provocative. In fact I don't want to provoke anyone showing my armpits, but I'm sure I'll had ton of comments saying "shave yourself". I won't, especially not because of Instagram comments. But still, I crave for a world where no one will see this as offensive, political or whatever, and just as hair."

Devochka, You can count me in as one of the fans of armpit hair - very erotic. - When I joined this site, I was excited to see so many contributors with body hair! Such a turn on. I grew up in the fifties and sixties, and there wasn't a whole lot of information of human sexuality. "The Joy of Sex" by Alex Comfort was the first "sex manual" my spouse and I read together. It wasn't pornographic, and the original drawings for the first edition showed armpit hair and I have linked the following article, talking about the book 40 years later. Interesting enough to stay on topic with this post, there is an excerpt from the book.

Extracts from The Joy of Sex
Image by Charles Raymond from The Joy of Sex showing a couple kissing
"Sex is the most important sort of adult play. If you can't relax here you never will"
"Chef-grade cooking doesn't happen naturally... It's hard to make mayonnaise by trial and error... Cordon Bleu sex, as we define it, is exactly the same situation"
"Plan your menus. Nobody wants a seven-course meal every time"
"Deodorant: Banned absolutely, the only permitted deodorant is soap and water"
"Personal taste apart, we see no earthly reason why pairs of friends shouldn't make love together: plenty now do"

It's interesting to know how worried they were about not causing offense or being prosecuted for obscenity for publishing this tasteful and educational book. I really want to read it now! I recently did a 60s/70s themed shoot, maybe we could have incorporated it into that somehow.
That excerpt has some good advice, especially about deodorant. I sweat a lot and secretly like being smelly so it's always nice to read things that give me permission to do that. I laughed when I read that the original models would stop and ask for an extra £100 halfway through posing. Hmm there's an idea! I'm glad they chose the couple they did, their love for each other is so obvious in the illustrations.
Also here is a bonus photo of Viva and I

Wow, so sexy! Armpit hair effected, for me, an association to beautiful, bushy pubic hair.

I doubt that I can consider myself a fan of either armpit hair or leg hair; however I do find it alluring or sexy in some situations. I mainly just regard it as an individual choice.
The thing that I find most appealing (and even sexy) about armpit hair (or leg hair) is that to me it exhibits a strong or independent personality trait. Sort of a woman declaring that she'll do as she pleases despite what might be considered unladylike. To that end I appreciate armpit hair.

My boyfriend has the same opinion . I used to feel that way about one of my friends who grew out her armpit hair. I wanted to be like her so I grew mine out and now haven't shaved in nearly three years. Yay!
