AVN awards

So, someone posted on twitter about how it is now the AVN awards voting period, and who they voted for, and encouraging others to go vote. I figured: "Meh, why not.... I always have had my favorites and never bothered to vote..." Now, 5 years ago I could have told you who the up and coming starlets were (side note auto correct corrected my spelling error of comming with cumming, thought that was funny ), who should win what category and who I thought deserved the top honors that year.... I think it is safe to say that at one time I knew a lot about "The Industry". I click on the voting link and find that I only actually know around 8 or 9 of the 74 different names on the "favorite female performer of the year" category and only recognized one name on the "best new starlet" category.  (I did know most of the MILF category though)

I guess what I am trying to say is I have just now realized how I have matured. Apparently I am only interested in seeing REAL women (by that I mean women who have not been surgically "enhanced" and glammed up to look like barbie dolls). I wonder, is this because my hormones have calmed down some, and I now see women as, you know... people, with lives, feelings and concerns and not just sex objects? Effectively, this online voting experience just told me a little about myself.

Side note, sorry Feck apparently you were not nominated for best production company this year...... I checked.

I also tried to vote for Angela White for best cam model (since I know she does some of that work) but she wasn't on the list either.

So how about you guys, when did you realize that you were disenchanted with the modern porn industry? Were you ever enchanted (enticed might be a better word here)? It might be fun exercise for everyone here to run through the voting process just to see if they know any of the people up for awards this year.
