a brief absence

Hello my lovely IFM folk,

Another year has passed, and it is time for me to take leave of my work to visit my friends and family in the US. While I won't be bringing my video camera with me this time, rest assured there will be much relaxing and enjoyment on my part - even if y'all don't get to see it

I probably won't be able to resist checking in on our forum from time to time, but while I'm away, I hope everyone pitches in to keep the forum active and exciting! Remember that when you make posts about contributors, they totally see them, and they totally feel really good about it. So be nice and tell people when you've loved their videos. And if there's some hardcore intellectually stimulating stuff posted here while I'm away, I would just be pleased as punch!

So au revoir, my dears, and see you all soon. I've sampled the wares of late august/early september in advance, and I can assure you, they are fabulous indeed. A few personal highlights - look out for Mew in the studio, Gizelle Z's stunning overseas contribution, and the beginnings of a long-anticipated duet that had me blissed out on every level of my being.

Whew! I'm back and finally finished reading through the posts made in my absence. It's clearly been an exciting few weeks here at IFM and I'm pumped to jump back in and join you all again to see what's coming up... yee haw.
