My favorite game is web based Basketball manager called Charazay.
the game engine is complex and gives the manager a challenge more so than other games. http://www.charazay.com I have played everyday since 2008! If you are committed it is well worth it

Game nerd as well. First game I played was Duke Nukem. Mostly been a FPS person when it comes to video games.

Although I did play a RPG a time or two back in the day.
