Solstice and a happy real new year
It's the real physical start of the new year at 11:12 am GMT on friday morning and 10:11pm in Australia summer solstice. (for global relevance we could give a year just 6 months) But anyway it is a very real starting point of a new cycle for everything non human and some humans. So I like to raise a small glass to the winter solstice and recognise we are as yet a tiny part of a wonderful universe. So have a happy real new year and I hope the year 13,000,000,2013 is a good one
