He died of cancer. He was here when the site started and moderated this forum for a while. I lost touch with him after the online community he started kind of fizzled out and today a freind told me he'd died. He himself had lots of friends. Though he'd had a hard life, he was a nice man and did lots of things for other people and made him self a good life, I liked him alot. x

That's a shame, I don't recall him as being very old ... I always got along with him and missed his "to the point" posting style here in the IFM forum. I used to have an email address for him but it was no longer any good for years now ...
R.I.P Elfman ... May the other side need your insight ...

That's sad
I have read many of his posts in the archives, he was a good presence around here and I'm sure in the world at large.

How sad. I'd missed him around here for a while, he'd been a loyal customer and a great supporter of the Forum. Always had positive things to say. And a huge Liandra fan I recall.

To Richard, Max, bluegrey and the IFM team.
Recently I suggested on this forum that you might consider including a short picture of the subject at the beginning of each submission so that those of us who download and save the videos to our PCs would find it easier to tell one from another. I see that today’s new submission has such a picture at the beginning. If this is in response to my suggestion I am grateful that you have taken the trouble to consider and implement it, especially at what must be a very busy and stressful time for you all. Whether prompted by my proposal or not thank you for including the picture. It has saved me the bother of having to insert one myself.
Elfman.
Classic Elfman. He was such a kind, gentle and supportive presence here from the very beginning. So much so that we ended up asking him to help us moderate these forums which he always did with grace, love and a wonderful respect for peoples experiences and voices.
Certain people permeate my early memories of IFM and today I'm reminded of how Elfman's generous appreciation, kindness and all round most excellentness shaped the way I feel about both working and being on this site. It was a beautiful thing for me and he was a beautiful person.
And this

We can make as many copies as we want but they'll all turn out very slightly different from each other. Some will be more evil some will gooder. Actually can you send a copy of yourself to here and I don't think I'm being greedy but I'll have one of Liandra as well. No, I'll have 2 of you, 2 of Liandra and 1 of Grace. Yes I think that would be fine. I say make it so
You're a very strange man bllissed. You know that don't you.

He was one of the great ones, and a large part of why I've become a forum regular. I wish him good travels. As others have said, he seemed such a kind man with a keen intellect.
