I don't know where to put this but I find it too interesting not to share - folks, shaving your pubesall the time is really bad yo.
Kind of unpleasant article with lots of description but worth having the (somewhat upsetting) knowledge of whats really going on down there.

Agreed on the unpleasantness of the article. It is a bit intense to have that much description of the possible wounds and abscesses this early in the day. Or this early in life.
Personally I enjoy both. Sometimes I prefer the skin to skin contact that shaving/hair removal can afford. But I also like seeing my fuzz when I look down.
I tend to look at it the same way I approach my fingernails. Well, it's something that I only do when the moon is waning to discourage further growth.

You look ridiculous if you don't dance
So you might as well dance."

The unpleasantness of the article is the reason I find it interesting. We know that razor burn is unpleasant to look at and those of us who have experienced it know that it doesn't feel great either, but personally I didn't realize how shaving - especially if one does it very often and without great care - or even waxing can be actually detrimental to your sexual health. Protection is something we are adamant about as responsible, sexual people - but you can't put a condom over your entire pubic area. While the article has a definite 'ick' factor, awareness of the risk potential when it comes to shaving could a) lessen the mainstream obsession with hairlessness and b) encourage those who prefer hair removal to do so in a more sanitary and safe way than they might have before understanding the risks and actuality of tiny open wounds near your sex spotz.
I don't think hairlessness is bad, but I do think that a lot of young women nowadays remove their pubic hair without thinking about how/why. If there is more risk involved with the practice than a bit of itchyness and red spotting, I'd like people to know about it.

I am very much for individual choice when it comes to people doing what they want with their bodies but I've often wondered about the potential increased risk of hair removal so that's really interesting to me and I agree with you Viva that if there is an increased risk, people should definitely know about it. I'm all for people being able to make informed decisions.

I love to have both pubes and non pubes. I don't think this is an unsettling choice of topic at all. It's all human.
What is scary is the fact that people are unaware of the possibility of damaging themselves. I myself was not aware and want to thank you for sharing this article. I will be sharing it with my friends for sure.
I love the smoothness of a hairfree section yet I find at times it makes me feel like I am not of age. At the moment I am sporting my speciality, which is full growth up top and smooth in the undercarridge. That way I get the best of both worlds.
Even one is different and has very different tastes. I work as a stripper and I get plently of compliments on my growth all the time.
This reminds me, I need to make a bush tastic video for you all soon. I say you should do what makes you feel happy. x

It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
