Re: The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

OH MY GOD!! YOU'RE BACK!!!

I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!

Elfman, or Adagio, or some other image-happy person -- > perhaps you can find me some dancing dervish to show my joy. . . ? 1074.gif fest30.gif 071.gif 241.gif

Now all we need is our other long-gone Swedish person, and I'll be totally stoked and never, ever go anywhere else to get my social needs met. smile

I'm sure there's some other welcome back nowaysis thread, but i'm so glad to see you. Yay!!!!!

(no idea what you did that was bad. quit school? lost your precious virginity in a way that was not ideal? robbed a bank to get back on ifm?)

Your last suggestion actually sounds better than what i did do, which is resubscribing with my first welfare cheque. tongue

There is no other welcome back thread. It would have felt presumptuous (at least if I had started one of my own), and i felt nostalgic revisiting this old thread.

And I'm glad to be back, your squeals of glee are far more and better greetings than any welcoming I could have ever imagined.

I am however virginal as ever. No closer, no yonder. neutral

I said it before on another thread but it bares repeating.  Welcome back Nowaysis.

That's the way you do it - grab some dough anywhere you find it and pump it right into your habit!

You show great taste by not creating an "It's so wonderful to have me back!" thread. Just come sneaking in unannounced and watch everyone go delirious with mindless joy, that's the ticket!

Sex is overrated anyway. OK, so it isn't, but I was only lying to protect you.

Re: The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

Thank you Elfman for helping me show my emotion over this event. I felt that would be more well-received than uploading a .wav file of me singing "O Happy Day. "  Perhaps after I spent the next six weeks practising Christmas Carols, but not now, no, no.

But I am happpppppppy!!!!!!!
ANd you know what ELSE is great?! All the newbies (by which I mean everyone who has joined since mid-July -- and you wonderful people know who you are -- ) can avail themselves of the opportunity to get to know Nowaysis by runnign a search on his username and choosing "posts" not "threads at the bottom (can one still do this with the new website?).

I mean, I know I'm a geek, but I'm of the opinion that one can't really appreciate this forum unless one delves into its history, and learns the personality characteristics of each of the people here. The COOL thing about an an-line community that's a BOARD/FORUM is that you can, through reading, know everything that has ever transpired. Now if I could do that in my little town here, I'd be SO much more savvy and so much better at doing my job.
Plus it's just more fun.

As to your virginity, Nowaysis, I like that you're still our resident virgin. For one thing, we need one of those, and who better than you?! Of course, you have plenty of other distinctive qualities (like welfare abuse, apparently!), and lots of interests -- I agree with your recent book post, btw.

Ok, ciao now.

Re: The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

Swedish welfare isn't what it used to be. When I was on welfare oh all those many years ago, I could get myself well and truly shitfaced at the pub three times a week and spend the rest of the week recuperating in the company of one pizza after another. Those were the days. Now you barely get enough to pay the rent and buy some bread, so I hope that all of you appreciate the sacrifice Nowaysis is making here!

Well, my coffee table is a bit too small for such activites, but if we can make sure my neighbours are out of the way, we have a quite large kitchen table in the dorm that would do very nicely.

Ha ha! They're selling drugs on your site, and you don't even know it!

No. Seriously, they're not. "Ska vi knulla på bordet?" means "Shall we fuck on the table?", so it's all good, clean fun.

Or maybe just the sexingest. There's no mention of whether Ainslee actually did "knulla" with any hunky Swedes. And besides, it's only the women who are considered sexy, right?

Oh yes, only the women are considered sexy, while the men (at least Swedish men as portrayed in American films) are considered slightly retarded. In England I believe there is some sort of turnip called a "Swede". Also, of course, Norwegian women are actually sexier than Swedish ones. Finnish women have a certain brooding, knife-wielding charm too, and the Danish ladies can make even a tolerably civilised man such as myself go "hubbahubba" for twenty-four consecutive hours before regaining my senses.

Re: The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

hehe, no swedes for me, unfortunately.  I don't know here the myth that only the women are sexy comes from, coz all the blokes I met were stunners.  Although that was right up north near lulea, so who knows, maybe its a northern thing haha.  The women are absolutely gorgeous though, arghhh.  Although I;d have to say through all my travels, slovakian women were the best...yummmooo

Re: The woes of studenthood (pointless thread, just because I can)

The men grow strong up north. Down here in the south we're more sort of sickly, twisted, pasty and unfit for reproduction. You should go to Norway sometime, Ainslee: everyone looks good there, and they sound funny too.

Slovakian women I know nothing about, but I have rarely seen a lady from The Ukraine who wasn't a stunner.
