Oh god, that happens to me with everyone i date... Some people would rather have a maz than bother keeping up a relationship. Kinda sucks when people avoid having intimacy.
I decided I should come with a warning to lovers, 'i will fall in love with you- tell me if your using me' or something like that. Just cause it's a thing for me, different relationship styles eh?

I'm assuming your talking largely about heterosexual relationships with men. I think male  testosterone generally takes anger and assertiveness into a different place, I don't think it effects your need for intimacy or emotional vulnerability inside. So for me that leaves patriarchy again.   Male expressions of intimacy and vulnerability are attacked pretty relentlessly by patriarchy, that has a very slow steady relentless effect on those emotional expressions, curtailing them. To show you what I mean here's a man talking to himself when he was 12.  I think his 12 year old self had exuberant emotions that he's now pretty much locked down intensionally.  There's no way he feels like Mr Spock inside or he couldn't make this video. It's quite funny but also a bit sad, if he'd developed his emotional capacity he would be more like Jon Stewart today. So the sad bit is we're looking at some good parts of a person disapearing. Though he hasn't disapeared completely and it's a cute little video
