personally, i loathe removing body hair. when i did 'erotic massage', i was obliged to shave my legs and pits, and honestly, it was the only thing i hated about the job - i wish i could have kept the hair, and i know at least some clients would have loved it. one of my proudest moments in sex work has been having a man travel from interstate because, in his words, i have the best pubes of any sex worker he's been with. i stopped removing body hair when i was around 21 - i went to art school, and out of the cohort, i was one of the only women who did shave - after a few years i questioned why i bothered, and just stopped altogether. i feel strange and unnatural without underarm hair - i have no issue with women who choose to remove it - hell, i alter my body in heaps of ways, like tattoos and piercings and hair dye - i just really like hair, and i love how my legs feel with hair on them, and my underarms. for me, shaving my pubes is not an option. never interested me. maybe one day, but i doubt it. i like having an Epic Bush. i think it's hot.

I'm personally sick of all these sites where androsexuals endlessly discuss wether men should wear beards or shave them and people have to make a personal definitive statement about their beards and wether they shave and why they shave in order to try and stop the endless debate and sometimes heated argument about what they should be doing.

Aesthetically, both natural and shaved turn me on. Ethically, I hate any pressure put on women to conform to a particular beauty ideal, and in particular to modify their bodies for somebody else's pleasure.

I think the turn on might not be the shaving, exactly, but just seeing a woman pay attention to her genitals and knowing she thinks about them. Which isn't to say that unshaven women aren't equally attentive, just that the act of shaving might, for some guys, be a kind of visual "proof" they find exciting.
