Oh no guys

I discovered the manosphere and it is a really scary place. First I was laughing but now I feel actually upset, like when you find communities for pics of dead kids or really young child porn or watch a video of non-consensual bestiality. This is like the KKK for women-haters.

The 2nd link doesn't work and the others read a bit like racist blogs. In the 1st one I bumped into the mind numbingly stupid word emasculation. Which I think is key to understanding the mentality of the blogger and others like them.

The term emasculation to me means assuming the right to privilege as if it were beautiful and natural and you can compare the word emasculation emotionally to denuding a hillside of it's beautiful trees. This is of course bullshit to anyone with half a brain that can imagine this beautiful right to privilege applied to religion or race. But people do don't they.

Applying beautiful privilege to positions of authority and power leads to snobbery and abuse of power and cruelty.

Beautiful sexual power and privilege exists quite nicely as part of BDSM as a fantasy that serves it's purpose. A simple mammalian artefact of sexy strong muscles from a time when those muscles alone could slay opponents and ensure survival.

But in the real world of humans with human level intelligence power is much more nuanced and complex, where agressive use of muscles will more likely get you in jail and courage and intelligence are far far stronger than strength. and when we do have power and strength over other people, we share it by working as a team. And in the human world it's largely the teams that compete with each other under legal rules that so far, have made us immensly productive.

Allowing beautiful privilege out of the dom sexual fantasy and into reality as a total normality is the main cause of patriarchy, which like racism is to me obhorent, and it's uncompetitive, because the teams that recognise the human qualities that really do create power, are making good use of them regardless of who has them or what sex they are.

And that is the end of today's rant ha ha time for lunch.

I only muddled through the first link as I'm having a bit of a comprehension slump but I gleaned as much as I cared to glean.
Remember the, "He-man Woman Haters Club" from the Little Rascals? It's alive and well if that crap is any indicator. Christ knows if there's one swinging dick on this planet who's been ground under the heel of scheming, manipulative women, it's been me. But I can't buy into that horseshit. It's laughable at best. Is this a cross between the Peter Pan syndrome and homosexual panic?
I'll reread it when I'm a bit more clear headed but I doubt I'll find it to be anything other than the word vomit it is.
The more I read on the 'net the more I think IFM may well be the last refuge for me.
Not as much input as I'd like but the input is quality and worth reading and considering.

it was definitely a load of misguided malarkey though *australian speak*

but I sense through your tone viva that you got to places far darker than these in the course of your research, so I think we should try and press on with this topic. there definitely is a feeling out there that women are receiving to many privileges in current society but the statistics laughably show the opposite.

my wonder though is how to challenge one of those jerks? what do you do, jump up and down and quote statistics?
