New site design

Sorry folks, but the new site design is far away from finding my applause.

The "old" one had a sort of aesthetics, the new one, I find sorta "nutty".

Also, as I figured out till now, it is no longer possible to download High res Vids, which is good for your bandwidth, but not for my looking-habits.

ok, 'nough told.

Hi Jo and welcome to the forum

If you check out Post #4 by the lovely Max in the thread entitled "New look site" you'll find the answer to your problem with the hi res downloads.

Max wrote:

....hi res videos are available, you just need to change your media settings. You can do this either in the pop up box for streaming videos or in the "my IFM" section

Hope the above info is of help.

I hadn't noticed this either Journeyman.  Thanks for pointing it out.  I will do that thing.

Re: New site design

Well then. I tried it out, highres is available.

Nevertheless I find the new site less interesting with regard to optical design.

But perhaps this is a matter of taste?! hmm

Glad to have been of assistance - It does makes a change for me not to be seeking your advice with technical problems! smile

Re: New site design

OK I've made the changes and the high res is fantastic.  It streams very fast and even on ful screen was almost as clear as on my media player.  I have therefore decided to delete all of my stored IFM vids from my hard drive.  With the new "favourites" file on the site I don't need them so I might as well free up some memory.

Well done guys.  I for one love the new site.

Mark my words

At some point in time you will rue that decision smile

Remember, you heard it hear first.

I don't feel rage, but the lust part fits like a glove.

Hmm.  Maybe your right Ashmedi.  Perhaps I'll re-think that one.

That's right, it's access-all-areas now.
