The video below on touchable holograms got me thinking. I don't really see immersive virtual technology being used that much if at all in porn. I think erotic arts biggest strength is to stir our imagination not replicate a totality real experience for us including a lovers responses and human energy when we're alone. In fact it can't.  But when we can see and touch a virtual partner then the 2 can be responsive lovers, and people can get together virtually over the net, physically risk free, as themselves or as an avatar they choose or create.
