OK, of late I've been thinking a lot of days gone by, and struggling to get caught up on reading the forum. Somehow the magic of late nights got a few lines crossed, and, well, here we go.
I imagine creating various adventuring parties, a la D&D and such, with forum posters as characters. Hear me out! For example, we have to have Elfman -- he's an elf. And every survivable team needs some sort of healer/cleric type, so there's Bish. And then the loyal monsters -- Garybob has declared himself a troll. Hopefully, he'll get along with all the other party members, not to mention those pesky townfolk. Heck, that sounds like an adventure right there!
I'd also throw in Max, the wizardly woman with an attitude (you crack me up, Max! ), and johnp54, because a squirrel with a bazooka is sure to keep things interesting.
... Well, that's my 2, um, somethings, in a currency you've never heard of....
I'm pretty sure I'm not a saint.

Elmo can I please be a fairy?

Of course! I love it! Two classic character types and three very different creatures -- who needs a plot? That combination alone could generate at least a few novels.

But are you sure about DnD? Which version? Basic, Advanced, 3, 3.5? Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Ravenloft or Planescape? What about RuneQuest and talking ducks? MERP, Rolemaster, Elric, Tunnels and Trolls, Storyteller, Shadowrun, SAGA or Twilight 2000?
Dystopian future, victoriana, steampunk, clockwork punk, post apocalypse, pre-technology, magic, space, earth, ocean, plains, cities, village or wilderness?
If Max is going to be a fairy are we talking high, low, grey, plains, forest, eldar -
(Does this mean I have to be a bard?)

We're talking Bondage Bluegrey, Bondage!

I figured Max would either be a druid or Ranger. The protector of all things cute and Furry.
As to D&D, I usually play as a mystic Theurge.

Personaly I prefer the Rolemaster MERP system and allready have an essence realm mage rolled up if it helps.
(Oh god. Did I really admit to that in public?).
Elfman.

I think it's fair to say that bard-dom is usually self-imposed, right?
I'm glad I threw this out there; I had a feeling I'd out a few game enthusiasts
