I'd love to share some great poetry here.
I'll kick it off with this fantastic ego trip by Nikki Giovanni, I wasn't born in the Congo but when I listen to this my lips are black, my voice is blue and I'm sitting on the throne drinking nectar with Allah.

I think it is appropriate to post the great poet Adrienne Rich here, who died Tuesday.

It's Ours
there is always that space there
just before they get to us
that space
that fine relaxer
the breather
while say
flopping on a bed
thinking of nothing
or say
pouring a glass of water from the
spigot
while entranced by
nothing
that
gentle pure
space
it's worth
centuries of
existence
say
just to scratch your neck
while looking out the window at
a bare branch
that space
there
before they get to us
ensures
that
when they do
they won't
get it all
ever.

Bukowski became a Buddhist in the end - I'm gathering this was one of his later poems? Beautiful.
I like it. I like it a lot. I like it a lot and then sometimes not.

someone shared this with me recently
"You look ridiculous if you dance
You look ridiculous if you don't dance
So you might as well dance."

What a line! Indeed, "Sod them all to Hades!"
Great link.
