There has been a few remarks on this forum recently which have suggested that we in Yorkshire are uncouth and uncivilised so I uploaded this trailer for the world's newest Airline just to show you all how wrong you are about us.

I don't feel rage, but the lust part fits like a glove.

Who was it? Where are they? Let me at 'em? ....Oh - sorry - that was a little bit "uncouth and uncivilised" wasn't it
Just watched your Youtube clip and absolutely creased myself laughing - Wherever did you find that clip!!!
Surely no one will ever doubt again "us Yorkshire folk's" absolute class and refinement
Elfman - you really do have a way of putting a smile on my face - thanks

Elfman - don't know whether you saw these Youtube clips whilst you were there - the original Monty Python "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch and secondly, Alan Rickman, Harry Enfield, Vic Reeves and Eddie Izzard doing a "tribute" to that original sketch. Not everyone's "cup of tea" I suspect, but they appeal to my sense of humour.

Hi ashmedi,
Glad you liked them
I think it is always good to be able to laugh at oneself - even when the characterisations are as over the top as Monty Python's!
Then again, I have come across some Yorkshire characters over the years, where the characterisations may not be that far from reality
Take care my friend

Yes I have them stored as You Tube favourites. I think they are very funny.
By the way since I was messing about with YouTube I made and uploaded a tribute to Max music video to my private YouTube file which I was then going to share with you all. (It occured to me that I haven't said anything nice about her in almost a month so I thought that I would make up for it). However after spending two hours making and editing the video the thought occured to me that since I used photos from "a rival site" I couldn't post the YouTube link here for copyright reasons even though it is saved on my private YouTube file (and therefore not available to the public there) because this is a public site. This is a shame because it is really, really good

That really is a crying shame
I think we would all love to have seen your tribute
If you were to post it here, I for one wouldn't tell
Can anyone think of a way round the copyright issue?

I don't think so mate and I certainly won't risk embarassing Richard or the site by posting the YouTube link here.

In Nottingham they say "eh up, duck". Or rather "eh oop dook". They call everyone "duck" (not m'duck). I liked living there because I like ducks.

No, I quite agree Elfman. It was said with "tongue firmly in cheek"
Still a shame though!

Very good bodyhead - made me laugh, but then again, I'm ever so slightly "quackers" myself.
I do have a couple of friends from the Nottingham area and your absolutely right "duck"

Great clip of Hale and Pace. As the man said after taking off from and returning to Leeds airport, if it ain't in Yorkshire, it ain't worth visiting. My mates gonna get a party together to climb up the Pennines and chizel their way from the Tees to the Humber and float us all off into the North Sea.
Cheers. Dynamo.
