Help Me People!

Hey there....I'm desperately trying to drum up last minute votes for 'The Power of Self' competition  run by Artists Wanted in NY......so please if you get the chance clicky clicky!

Artists Wanted is a collaborative project between several New York City artists and creative organizations working to build new lasting opportunities for emerging talent. They have experienced first hand the difficulties in breaking into the professional art world and it is thei mission to make this process more welcoming, dynamic and open-ended.

Ooh! I like your work. Couldn't find where to vote for a while then left and then came back and found it so just in case anyone else is as daft as me it's here at the bottom of the page

It must be really difficult to say what your work is about. To me it looks cool and thats an immediate subconscious judgement. Our subconscious is way more developed than our conscious which plays catch up trying to describe things, and as with other species has evolved mainly just to make sure we don't bump into things when we look for sex and food.

Thanks Blissed.  I'm glad you like.   I always struggle with descriptions....not because it lacks meaning but because I tend to think very visually.  I can never really collect my thoughts properly unless its right there in front of my eyes.  It leads to alot of random scrunched up scribbles on my floor and annoying unnamed textfiles on my desktop.

I do like lists of ideas though...

space
stretch
hold
comfort
tension
touch
action
internal and external space
skin
warmth
light
transparency.

Ok I'll shuttup now.  Back to work.
