June_M in the supermarket Loose End 0223

I am really troubled by this video, in which June_M happily pushes her trolley through a large, brightly-lit well-stocked supermarket, captioned "Somewhere in Russia".

This is today's Guardian newspaper (17/12/2022) reporting on the latest Russian missile attack on Ukraine:

_________________________________________________

Ukraine was working to restore electricity to hospitals, heating systems and other critical infrastructure in major cities after Russia’s latest wave of attacks on the power grid prompted accusations of “war crimes”.

The volley of missiles unleashed Friday pitched multiple cities into darkness, cutting water and heat and forcing people to endure freezing cold.

The mayor of Ukraine’s capital Vitali Klitschko said early Saturday the city’s metro system was back in service and that all residents had been reconnected to water supply a day after the latest wave of Russian air strikes on critical infrastructure.

He also said heating had been restored to half the city and electricity had been returned to two-thirds.

“But schedules of emergency outages are being implemented,” he wrote on the Telegram messaging app. “Because the deficit of electricity is significant.”

On June_M's profile here, you list her as being from Sweden, which is simply not true. She is from Russia. Selvaggia, a recent addition who was already a well-known porn star doing hardcore on LegalPorno etc, is listed as from Finland. She is from Russia.

Leria_G is listed as from Russia, at least that is honestly reported. There are several others - Viktoria_D, Dasha, Sasha_K who have all featured since the outbreak of war.

If you are okay with posting Russian people's content during this criminal war, then at least you should be honest and own it. It is clear that you have actually increased Russian content dramatically since the war began. There are 22 scenes from these women listed as Russian and then you must add in the others who are under other flags.

Pettr Hegre is still shooting films in Ukraine with Ukrainian models, despite the war. He has acknowledged the war on his web site. His latest video of Lana Lane, shot in Lviv in the summer, you can hear air raid sirens at one point when she is walking through a square. Can't you find any Ukrainian content, at least that would be some kind of balance?

Right now, it seems to me that like Germans with their gas supply in recent years, you have become too dependent on content from Russia. As a result, your moral compass is now signifantly off.

If you were a site like LegalPorno, I would not even make this argument here, but you have always positioned this site as ethical.  This site prides itself on presenting ethical porn. WIth this murdeous war continuing despite sanctions imposed on Russia, can you really compartmentalise your ethics and ignore the murder of 40,000 Ukrainian civilians ?

I am sorry, but I really feel sick to my stomach watching this.

Perhaps I am alone in this here, and perhaps it is time for me to be honest and leave.

I have cancelled my rebill but will be here until January 23rd when my present subscription expires.

Ok I'm not sure I understand what's troubling you.  That we're accepting shoots from Russians? Or that some of them are fudging their country of origin?  Can you blame them?

Ordinary Russians are also suffering through this war.  A lot of them have left, including June who is now in Asia.  They need income.  We're not going to exclude them because their leader's a despot.  None of them have expressed support for the war.  They didn't start it, they don't want it.  One Russian contributor wanted to submit more content so she could buy her brother an air ticket out of there.  We helped.  We've also donated money to Ukranian relief programs.

We have many shoots from Ukranians, probably as many as Russians in the past year, and they continue to come through.  They also are mostly submitting from other countries where they've fled to.

The Russians who post videos here appear to be very socially progressive given the videos. They also appear to have friends abroad and speak good English.

Given that you wouldn’t expect them to be fans of Putin.

How are you paying contributors in Russia given financial banking sanctions operating in the EU and Australia?

Please show me a Ukrainian contributor you have featured since the war started.

Paxum is a payment platform specifically for the adult industry and they're able to pay Russians.  There are plenty of Ukranians on ISM, but so far none have done IFM as far as I can recall.  They aren't as affluent as Russians, they have less English and generally their phones aren't suitable (we accept iPhone11 and up), and there are cultural differences - they seem less interested in even attempting BA for some reason - but if a Ukranian submits a good video, we'll take it in a heartbeat.

For the record I follow the war very closely.  I'm a huge fan of Zelensky and I hope he nails Putin's butt.  A programmer who was doing work on GMbill for us is Ukranian, and we've been keeping in touch with him.  He joined the army and now flies drones on the front lines.

Don't conflate people with their leaders.

Hangdog...

I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but at least some of it is flawed...

June_M was living in Australia around the time of her BA and ISM contributions, and around the time she did her IFM shoots, she was either living in Russia or planning to move there...
In her BA shoots, and especially her Confession, it is clear that she is in the process of learning English, and she is speaking English with a Scandinavian accent, NOT a Russian accent...
June_M's voice is proof of her birthplace,  and where she chooses to live and why is her choice...
I have no problems with Russian girls making a living the same way American girls make a living...

And somewhere else you made a statement inferring that IFM is not using Ukrainian women, That statement is also wrong, and all 3 Feck sites have featured Ukrainian women recently...

I am against the war, and wish someone would stop Putin and Russia, but attacking the innocent citizens is not morally or ethically satisfactory...

Ashmedi just to correct you, June_M hasn't been to Australia, although she's in Asia at the moment and will hopefully come over and do some shoots in glorious 4K with our pro mic setups.  Some of her early contributions were done on a previous trip to SE Asia.

Thanks, Richard...  I stand corrected...  Age is attacking my memory  wink

Read more carefully. I checked back through the files on site. I said IFM had used no Ukrainian content producers since the war started but that it had actually increased content from Russian producers.

You can wring your hands about wanting the war to stop. You can say everyone in Russia except Putin is innocent. But we live in countries that have decided to stand against Putin partly through economic sanctions. How can you pay Russian content producers and not breach those sanctions, if you are working out of the EU or Australia? That is not even a moral question - it is a legal one.

From a moral point of view, as I said, I am physically sickened watching a Russian happily prancing around a supermarket while her country bombs civilians in Ukraine. That is how I feel. I can't turn a blind eye. I can't tell myself comforting lies. In a war like this, you are on one side or the other.

My conscience tells me it's time to go.

Re: June_M in the supermarket Loose End 0223

Hangdog there's no legal issue.  The only sanctions in Australia concern military supplies and energy (oil).  I doubt any country has a blanket "no trade" rule.  We aren't paying the government, we aren't supporting the war, we're supporting the people.

Ordinary Russians in this age group do not support Putin or the war, and they need income.  We pay in USD which is particularly attractive since the rouble has lost so much value.  Most of our Russian contributors come to us because they were referred by a friend who had a good experience, and we've mostly found them to be excellent contributors who really get what we're about.

We aren't excluding any Ukranians, they just aren't applying.  They have a lot to worry about right now. In Ukraine, most women do adult work through "agents" who are known to be shady.  We don't buy content from agents, we deal only directly with the contributor.

If June was able to have a moment of frivolity while her narcissistic president, for whom she didn't vote, is waging war on a civilian population, which includes her friends, then I say good luck to her.  It doesn't mean she's indifferent.

Many Feck subscribers are from countries which 20 years ago invaded a smaller country for obscure ideological reasons leading to the death of hundreds of thousands of civilians and millions being driven from their homes never to return (many of those are refugees again).  Its a good time for them to ask themselves "I was in more or less a democracy with something resembling civil rights, so what did I do when it was my government?"  Its not fair to expect people in another country, with an actual dictator and a secret police, be more heroic than you were!

I'm not expecting people in Russia to be heroic. But I do expect them to understand that there are consequences when your country invades a neighbouring state and pursues a criminal strategy of targeting civilians.

Indeed you are correct about the Iraq war. However I am relaying the feeling I get in the pit of my stomach when I watch this video.

I come from Ireland, which like Ukraine, is a country that has hundreds of years of tragic history thanks to having a powerful and cruel neighbour to the east. We have better relations with that neighbour now, though things have gotten worse since the Brexit referendum.

Our history with England is a very black one, with atrocious wars in the 17th century in the time of Cromwell still featuring heavily in the Irish psyche. And then there was the Great Hunger of the 1840s.

Ireland had a population of 10 million in 1830. By 1900 it had shrunk to 2 million, thanks to a famine caused by a failure of the potato crops in 1845-7 and worsened by the British rulers who continued to export grain from Ireland at the peak of the famine, and who refused even to give basic food aid without forced labour. By 1850 2 million died, 2 million young people left on ships for the US, Canada and Australia. The old and the weak who remained dwindled to 3 million by the census of 1904.

So we have a natural empathy with Ukrainians and the 70,000 who came here in the past year were welcomed. We do our best to support them and there is a very strong sense of commonality between us.

I live in Europe in a country directly affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Perhaps that means I cannot be neutral about the idea of business as usual with Russians in Russia, when their government is attacking our friends, and directly attacking our energy infrastructure in the Baltic Sea.

I found it incredibly distasteful, that supermarket frolic, in the same week when people in Ukraine are living in cold basements and being attacked by missiles and drones when they try to  go to their darkened shops.

Re: June_M in the supermarket Loose End 0223

You still aren't making a connection between June and the war.  She does not support it, she is not participating in it, and her options to do anything about it are pretty much nil, considering you're arrested for even calling it a war.  She is also a victim - her flat may not be a missile target but she's forced to live under a despotic regime, her friends are being picked up off the street and sent to the front lines, and she probably has friends in Ukraine as well.  You seem to have formed the view that this couple of minutes is just a snapshot of a frivolous couldn't-care-less life she's living.  Anyway let's leave this alone know, we've all made our points.  BTW my great grandmother was an Irish refugee in the 1880's!
