I would do pretty much exactly what you currently do, but with a 3D VR camera. Something like the LucidCam. I don’t think 360-deg view makes sense, but a 180-deg view in 3D would be amazing. I would just set the camera up in one place, similar to what you currently do. I think it would feel like being there, in the room.

IFM vr would be so intense... richard it wouldn't be like a game I reckon, just fully immersive. have you tried a VR set? sometimes I don't even want to play games - just stay in the beautiful lobby areas, looking around. and honestly I reckon the experience of having a wank while your visual field is fully immersed in an erotic experience would be super amazing.

Just dug this out because I was curious if there's been any discussion about that topic. I would totally love the idea, although I could see that the potential target group probably isn't that large.

Personally, I really like shots from the artist's point of view, or from closely behind her, if she's lying on her back. Just the idea of being able to watch from there more directly is really intriguing to me, as I like the thought of how if feels for her, and I think I could get more immersed in it that way.

Having had a few subscriptions to Beautiful Agony already, I could also see something similar to that work in VR, though on IFeelMyself you could actually watch down if you wanted to.

Another interesting thought to me would be seeing someone sitting in front of me, for example as the wonderful Ellie K did a few times (such as in On Top or All Around 2).

But that's just me throwing random thoughts around. I would totally love the idea of IFeelMyself in VR, whatever way that would be, but either way, I love this site as it is and keep coming back, no matter if the ideas are picked up or not.

VR is great when you want to explore a 3D space so it would work well in, say, an orgy scenario with the camera in the middle. But for IFM, OK you have 3D, but aside from that, what benefit in being able to look behind the camera or up at the ceiling where nothing's happening?

It's not that much about looking around, it's more the feeling of seeing everything through your own eyes rather than on a flat screen. When you're focusing on some person in real life, you also wouldn't look around that much, but it's still much more natural to see them right in front of you than on a screen. For IFM, it might get you a lot closer to the feeling of being in the same room as the artist.

That works for static environments where the room has been 3D mapped but when filming people you have a single camera in one position, so you can't get a different perspective on the person. So you can't walk closer and see a different part of their body revealed, for e.g. At least that's my understanding and experience with 3D.

Yes they film in all directions at once, but they're still viewing from a single point. So if there's an apple behind that box you can't walk up and look behind the box to find it.

Yes, VR of the sort that would allow one to actually move around the room interactively and view the subject from all angles isn't technologically feasible right now (and even if it were, only a Hollywood studio could ever afford it). Single point rotational-tracking-only VR, however, is easy. Also, it could be viewed on devices as cheap as Google Cardboard.

Even something that simple would be quite the experience - just being 3D would give a heady you-are-there feel, along with being able to focus your attention where you want to, rather than being bound to the whim of the video editor.

This would be amazing! I really hope it happens some day. Almost all VR porn sucks, kind of like most porn sucks. YanksVR is kind of close to what you do but definitely not your level. It's just that feeling of immersion, like you're there, nothing else would have to be different.
